You need to establish trust. Why should we be listening to you? Beyond your cool edit style, what are you giving I can’t find anywhere else by any other creator? What’s your USP? Vlogging is really just visual storytelling. So it doesn’t matter what camera you use. I see a few comments about using a dslr or mirrorless rather then an action cam. To be honest you can even use you phone camera to vlog. That being said of course if you are keen on getting the best quality, then of course, go for larger sensors and specs. I’ve been using action cams for vlogs for a while now and for the reasons you mentioned in this video, my Action 4 is becoming my go to for visual storytelling on the go. Nice video. Well done.

yes! totally agree! It's a lot easier to film anything using the Action 4 with my dogs and I don't have to worry about the manual settings like I do when using DSLR, and the size is really so handy, especially with my big dogs. But I may not use it at night. 😅

I love mine ♥️ easy to use, and if i wanted to make a vlog, it's small and easy, and the edit is also easy. Used my nikon d7200 when i started playing around with davinci resolve 2 years ago, now i am only on my dji action 4 all the time 😊

you can use D-Log M but then you would have to colour grade the footage in post :)

unfortunately not my friend, 15mm focal length is the standard on this camera, then it goes to 12mm then 11mm

@@jotanitram thank you bro, the extendable pole comes with the action 4 if you get the adventure combo, I just screwed an old gimbal stand on to it. But for POV I bought a cheap action camera head mount from Amazon, also a smallrig suction cup mount that works great for mounting to the outside of the car 👍🏻 let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll try and help you out as much as I can 👌🏻

A low light mode for DJI Osmo Action 4 would be welcome, as it is with DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Action 4 does quite poorly in low light, at night with street lights. Pocket 3 films unexpectedly well in low light, but it has the disadvantage of being very fragile.

If you filming with Action 4, we tend to need another one that able to focus to things. Since this is action cam, it wouldnt able to focus details. I pair my Action4 with ZV1F Sony.

It’s not a 1.3 inch sensor. It’s roughly a 0.77 inch sensor. And the big camera you had in the shot isn’t a DSLR. It’s a mirrorless camera. Not being a dick, just putting the correct info for people. Great editing!

Tried it as well but ended up selling it and using my mirrorless cameras instead. The image quality is good in decent lighting. Not a fan of the dynamic range of its small sensor and how it exposes the sky more than anything else. Its selling point is size, price, stabilisation, and ease of use. But it is still great value for its price.

You forgot to put how much time does the camera can record continuously (what a surprise) and the overheating issues that appears when you récord continuously not only in the OA4 but in all camera actions, reason why you can’t use it for a continuous récord blogging, reason why it doesn’t work for blogging unless you record in a not continuously way and if you are going to record like that you better do it with your smartphone. OA4 it’s useless? Absolutely no, but by ignoring this issues and topic a lot of people believe in all what you say and buy the wrong camera for them.
