DJI OSMO ACTION 5 PRO - Coming Sooner than Expected!

DJI is soon to unveil its latest action cam, the Osmo Action 5 Pro and we have some exciting updates about the camera. The Osmo action lineup has long been a great alternative to the GoPro competing toe to toe but has also lacked some key features, giving GoPro the upper hand. Well, things are about to change, as for the first time DJI is expected to release its next-gen action camera with a “Pro” tag. Every time DJI has come up with a Pro model in its drone lineup, we see massive upgrades justifying the name. So, what upgrades would actually make the Action 5 Pro the best action camera, and when might it get released? Let’s find out.

Osmo 4 is fine being that it is a small budget action camera, Divinchi Resolve has a good de noise function.

The Action 4 already has DJI Mic2 connectivity via Bluetooth.

I totally 💯 agree that DJI is far better than GOPRO . I have used GoPro since 2015 and in 23 bought the GoPro 11 new which gave me lots of problems . I switched to action 4 and would never buy another GoPro again .

Target is not gopro, insta 360 ace pro is better than any action cam in day and low light, I hope action 5 will complete with insta.

Rumoured action camera specs tend to be about 30% accurate. If the Action 5 Pro really has a 1-inch sensor, I would expect the Pocket 3 to go on sale for a deep discount. Why? Because it would be able to do most everything the Pocket 3 can do PLUS it's is more rugged and waterproof. Somehow I think it will have the same sensor as the action for, but new internal technology will enhance the low light imagery.

Lol , bro, you don't know what you are talking about in your comparison between gopro and Dji Action cameras . The Dji action 4 blew the gopro hero 12 away in all ramifications, especially in lowlight performance and overall image quality . DJI ACTION CAMERAS ARE ALSO MORE RELIABLE IN EVERY WEATHER CONDITION . I have both action cameras, DJI ACTION 4, AND GOPRO HERO 12, but I use only the Dji because the gopro image quality is not as good as the DJI action 4 .

Completely agree with you. The only reason Go Pro is still the default choice for many people is because it came into the market first. Even Insta360 or Go series has far better features than Go Pro.

Go pro and iPhone give their log and Gammut white paper information to Davinci Resolve so we colorists can transform the input color space into the larger Davinci Wide Gammut color space so we can work in Davinci Color Management or node based color space transformation. Why doesn’t DJI provide this and they never answer this question after countless emails on this subject. So terrible customer service with DJI especially with the price customers are paying for their products
