I am impressed with the handheld stabilization! I can definitely see an improvement in sharpness with the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 but one day we might not even need a gimbal! What are your thoughts? We are ok if you wondered about the crash. It was unexpected and scary but thankfully I had my hands inside the Polaris and I was wearing a helmet! This is a testament on how durable the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and iPhone 11 Pro Max are!

EMT I'm really impressed from the stabilisation from the new iPhone. Yesterday I made a fast story for IG and it turned out as good as some of my shots on the Osmo Pocket... One question I have if the stabilisation is always the same , vertically and horizontally? I think that gimbals gonna die out. Ive got two gimbals for my smartphone and I'm not sure if I'm gonna use them as I got the new iPhone and for fast content creation that I mostly do it's just so much more comfortable than arming the phone on a gimbal or transfer the files from the Osmo Pocket with all the issues like no 4k 60fps. Really nice content by the way 👏👏👏

Glad you’re enjoying the content! The stabilization should be the same but on portrait we rarely use two hands so results may vary. A way to get 4K 60 form the pocket is by using the SD adapter to transfer the video! Hope this helps! 🤘🏼

Doesn’t show on mine at all. That leads me to believe your phone is not centered in the grip. I usually balance my phone and it’s not perfectly centered but nothing shows on the frame using the Osmo 3. Hope this helps!

I have the pro max and I have tried the osmo 3 and I noticed the tilt I only got about 180 and with my osmo 2 I had no issue with getting the full 270

First of all thanks for sharing your valuable time with me! Hope you enjoy your iPhone 11 Pro Max as much as I am enjoying mine! You are correct. When holding the Smove Mobile in vertical position or while its standing on its tripod the motor is visible while using the ultra wide. You can definitely get it out of your shot while by holding it in “torch” position. Like 45 degree angle. Hope this helps!

Any worries over the long haul that the pro max weight will push it to hard? I made the purchase of both the 11 pro max and the Osmo 3 and didn’t realize it was maxed out on the weight specs.

So far everything has worked great for me even with a Sandmarc lens. Definitely the balance and calibration before using it has been important. As long as the weight is evenly distributed it should work with minimal issues. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼

I have an iphone 11 pro max with an otterbox and I need a gimbal...I would prefer NOT to remove the phone from the case of course...but will the Osmo 3 handle the iphone 11 pro max without a case just fine? it's a heavy phone...the footage in this video (to be honest I'm not sure exactly which shots were taken with the iphone 11 pro max and the gimbal in this video) looks steady...is it safe to say the combo would work smoothly...?
