Just picked up my one as well and love how beginner friendly this is. 😊 Do you think this will work as a studio camera as well? Was thinking of maybe getting a sony in the future but honestly overwhelmed with all the options and also prices for those cams… Wondering if the Pocket 3 would be a good all rounder for the next few years? Have a go pro 10 and a I phone 13 pro max as back up (might upgrade to 17 pro next year)

Great review. I picked up one yesterday (just the basic kit but now slightly regretting). I’m more a photographer and do trail runs so looking forward to taking this out in Brisbane’s trails and getting some early morning shots. The one inch sensor made me realise it’ll possibly outperform the Action 5 in lower light. Anyway it beats lugging a dedicated SLR around!

Can you freeze/lock the gimbal in a fixed position so it can be used for fast motion footage similar to the DJI Action, knowing of course that it won't be as steady?

You can press and hold the joystick to freeze the gimbal but then you need to keep holding the joystick.

It is a good camera but the auto-tracking when used like "walk and talk" camera is bad. Your thoughts?

It is fine if you have the face tracking enabled.

Once the face tracking has been enabled, you can press record and the gimbal will start following you.
