Another great use of the DJI is for outdoors activities because it will stabilize the footage and give that looks of a drone video, great video and great gadgets

Dude, we've come so far in such a short amount of time, the low light capability in your office, the tracking! I was even thinking while you were pointing out by the water that it would be cool if they had a point and follow feature, you point, it puts your hand at the very end of the frame and centers the shot with the horizon, while keeping your hand in frame to maintain tracking. Really good quality and the screen size is great! A big change from that big thumb sized screen they had from years ago. I think bout using these professionally to cover band members from different angles, that tracking is awesome. More fluid, still a lil jerky but I'm sure it can be tweaked, ideally it would be great to have a handheld look mode where it's not perfect, floats and varies. I wonder if this could be used as a webcam. Great review, buddy!

From the perspective of DJI product ecosystem, I recommend the official creator kit of DJI OSMO Pocket 3+DJI Mic 2. And I think DJI Mic 2 will be released soon.

Rode Pro sound is superior over the Dji mic 2. I agree if you do not have a mic or do not need two mics, but other than that Rode hands down.

@@robertquinonez_How do you get the rode connected though without the receiver dangling from the device on the USB cable?

How do you get the rode connected though without the receiver dangling from the device on the USB cable? I didnt see how you actually connected the devices.. thanks

the dji extender makes it so that cable routes to the back, and all I need to do is use the USB-c to C cable from the rode mics and connected directly to the back and it just accepts is as an audio input

@@TKBay im sorry, im a visual learner and i dont understand this explanation...i had the same question as the above person. i also wondered how u were able to mount the osmo pocket on a tripod with the usb cable connected to it and the receiver...
@TKBayАй бұрын
@OutWithJane using the battery pack that DJI sells. You get a quarter mount screw at the bottom and the USB C cable on the back. amzn.to/4d85hy4

So impressed with what I've seen of this device. Pretty high on my list for next year.

I am keen to use the 32 bit audio from the transmitter. Can you jam sync the time code from the rode to the OSMO ?

Great video. I assume you need to plug the Rode receiver into the back of the DJI using a USB cable? Is there a shoe option on the DJI to hold it in place? I have the Rode mike, but not the Pro version.

Thanks for this video! I have the rode wireless pro and don’t want to sync in posts glad to know I can use USB- C to USB-C. When I use that, is the content on the DJI device set to go? Or do I need to download it from rode?

How did you connect Rode pro to Pocket 3? I missed to understand that
@TKBayАй бұрын
It's not that complicated. I just use the USBC cable that comes with the road and connected directly into the battery extension for the pocket. 3. That way you can charge it and use a microphone positioned into the back and then you have the quarter screw Mount at the bottom

This is a great review, I have the rode mics and it’s cool to see that I can use it with this camera and save me some bucks 👌🏽

Another option is to jam sync the Rode Wireless Pro's timecode output mode with the receiver by USB. Disconnect. Record with the camera and Wireless Pro separately. Sync the audio files from the transmitter in post.

how did you attach the rode to the dji? or did you keep them separated and synched in post?
@TKBay10 ай бұрын
I connected them using a USBC to c cable just a straight connection. The DJI recognized it as a microphone and I was able to record audios straight into the camera, synced and everything

Hi, I’m new and just getting started with the KZbin journey. Question, I just bought a Scorp 2 mini gimbal kit with AI tracking for $280 and the Rode wireless Pro for my iphone pro max...Awesome set up but large amd takes time to set up. I do not own a camera. I currently use my iPhone pro max with the Black Magic Camera app. I’ve been looking into the Pocket 3, do you think it’s a better choice for solo content creation. I can still return gimbal. I’m planning on having 2 channels. One will be for simple product reviews, the other will be interviewing people. Or should I keep my set up so when I grow I can use my gimbal for a camera like the Sony a6400. Thanks in advance.
