DJI Phantom 2 long range modification Part 3: Adding Amplification

In this video, I show you exactly what boosters I am using to add amplification to my setup. You may choose any boosters you think might suit you better, but in case you want to use my exact setup, I am including the links to each item below:

Hi bro... U rock. I so wish I had the skills u had. I just got my drone for me and my Nefew. He lives it and I found at last what he loves. He has addt. And is hearing impaired. He is out of he house now and love to go out side. I have a question .... I can never even thinking of building one of these. Would u be open to build one for me ? I know it's a long shot asking but I would pay for everything and such if so plz let me know.

+OokTiaopi I went a mile up once a long time ago and just brought it back right away. I don't try to get in the international airspace if I can avoid it lol. curiosity had me that particular day. I am certain it would go at least 3 miles up. ... no height restrictions on this baby. she was made before all the rules

i was wondering if you have done any mods for the stock antennas on the phantom for longer transmitter range

Yes. I am supposed to be doing a video on that, but I have not gotten around to it yet. You can either disconnect them by cutting the adhesive off of them and putting your own ufl to rpsma type connectors, or you can do like I did and just cut them off, splice the wires, and connect your own rpsma connectors on there. Hi Jeremy, thanks for writing back. I don't have a fancy one just the phanto= m vision it all stock and running the 2. Something software witch I know doe= s not have the no fly zone software.the guy I bought it from said he didn't w= ant to update it because of that. Witch is good because I like to fly high a= nd far but still with in safety. You can call me or even text me 2096031505 a= nd sure I understand you have kids and a few weeks is ok. This is what I was= looking to do is to have a long range 2 miles kinda like your and have no l= imits on height meaning I can fly high as I want to or intill the battery al= lows.also I notice or thought since the past owner showed me what software h= e was running but said also he can get into the software to change any setti= ng due to When you go into the software it promts u/ force u to do a update t= o the new 3 witch I don't want. Is there anyway I can go into setting and se= e what my height and range max are set at? That is actually very convenient that u have the vision, with version 2.0 at that..that is my exact aircraft. Should be a breeze to get you going. What u need to do is go to www.droneslinger.com and install the assistant software version 2.0 and then disconnect from your internet before running it, and you wont be asked to update. If i remember correctly, you might have to run the assistant without the phantom attached the first time while connected to the internet to log into it for the first time,but after that,you won't have to anymore.
