Excellent video, thanks for the lesson ... I am interested in LINEAR MISSION ... but practically when the corridor is divided (Flight Band Cutting Distance), what does the flight performance look like practically on the ground ... no one has shown that yet ... greetings

Interesting! In the Smart Oblique option, is there any way to suppress the second (#2) Flight paths if on the the first orientation is called for? I don't want to wear out the shutter or over cycle the batteries if I don't need to.

Great tutorial. I have the M30T but the software is exactly the same. Are there any web-based ways to design mapping missions? I don't like trying to move points around with my finger and don't think our controllers support a pen for drawing. I tried using Google Earth and then imported the KML file but all of points were off. In fact, the whole grid was over the next field.

Thanks for doing this. What software do you use to process your images after your missions?

I know that there are many programs out there and they are all good in their own right, but I am partial to Agisoft Metashape. It allows me to control all the aspects of the processing and allows for scalability when you want to jump into the aerial lidar world. The only thing about the program is that it is a German based company so support is hard to get sometimes. I will work on getting a video up on the basic processing steps her in the next week or two.

Great video. Very understandable. How would you set up a search mission, not a mapping mission. Not taking so many photos but self flying while you watch the search area. Please help. Jim

Jim, that is a great question. I am a surveyor by trade and that is not a function that I predominately use. I will ask around and if I can find an answer I will post another video. I think that the best way to achieve it will be using the waypoints function. Thank you so much for the feedback and have a wonderful day!

This has been discussed by others. I think the best they came up with was change the settings to the max so it takes as few pics as possible. But that was about a year ago. They may have found something better by now.
