Thats because people dont know how to process stuff in post. You have to know how to edit your footage, but on top of that know how to use the right luts. The footage dont come out the camera this way. Glad I know how to do that or I would be saying the same thing about this camera which is it doesnt take cinematic footage.

1: have lowest iso possible 2: use d-cinelike if you have the time 3: Have the quality video feature on 4: film in pro 5: film in 4k (I recommend you not go above 30)

Best video I've seen with the Osmo pocket 2, and you almost convinced me to buy it. I like to shoot in 50p and the fact that the 4k50p doesn't work in high quality is a nonsense makes me hesitate. Did you notice a real quality difference between 25p high quality and 50p lower quality? I also live in Perth, and it was funny to see the inside of Carousel where I go shopping almost every weekend.

Great video. I cant get my head around AFs and AFC . Is AFS like manual focus ? so you click on it once and it's focused at that point. So for example Click AFS once on a landscape. Move behind a rock ( rock should be blurred out) Pan /slide left and landscape will be in focus. AFC always does auto focus Landscape is in focus move behind rocK and it will refocus on the rock when would you use AFS vs AFC Regards

I'm currently sitting in front of the Mac at home looking at YT Videos awaiting Amazon to deliver my Pocket 2 later today, I did have the Pocket 1 but didn't like it very much so hopefully this updated one will be much better, now, well this video is lovely, this videographer knows what he is doing, I'm buying mine to shoot Railway videos at my local stations and reckoned for a stealth camera this would be ideal, In the 3 minutes the video was running I got quite relaxed, I guess the music was working its magic on me, thanks for sharing such a lovely evocative video, just one thing, what is the city featured please, I'm guessing it could be somewhere In Australia Mike, West Bromwich UK

I am curious. With video quality do you prefer or is the best. The DJI pocket or GoPro. I have a GoPro 6 and use it with an gimbal bur I think it is quite heavy when I use it for a whole day. For more stability of course a bit more weight is better but still.

You know it's funny because I just bought the Osmo Pocket 3 which I love the quality of the camera better. I still have my DJI Pocket 2 in which a friend is borrowing it right now. But I just wanted to look up cinematic style videos taken with the DJI Pocket 2 so that I can see it's potential. I know that sounds funny, but there are just some things that others can do to really dig out the best they can with the product, and this video shows it! When I get my camera back from my friend, I might see what I can really push it to do. Thought about selling it, but I may just keep the thing.

Where is video HDR mode in pocket 2? In user guide we can read something like this "HDR video mode: tap to select HDR video mode (firmware version v01.02 or later is required.)" Last version of firmware is v01.01 from 10/30/2020. I'm confused.

I've first seen your GoPro 8 video and now this. Man, this guy films! I have a question (probably a stupid one). In the settings, you mention that you've used 50fps for recording and the video was also exported in 50fps. But almost all the footage I see in this video are in slow motion. How is it done without shooting at a higher frame rate than the exported frame rate?
