the base of the pocket 2 is so hard to remove, it does not just pull off effortlessly like you've shown here, which is why I came here - a tip from another video, attach the tripod to the base and use it as a handle to help you pull the base off, works much better and is safe

More info on the mic / earphone connector please! Can you connect an earphone / mic for a phone (giving mono mic and stereo playback)? Can you connect a stereo mic, and record in stereo with it? Isn't there a risk of damaging a mic if you play back thus outputting audio into the mic?

2:04 describes the 3.5mm port as "Note: both microphone connectors with two or three rings are supported " I cannot get any microphone to work with mine through this port and contacted DJI support. I was told categorically that it was not a microphone input but a headphone output. There seems to be total confusion about what this really is. Surely the manufacturer would know? This issue is spoiling what is potentially an excellent product.

This clip-on feature is a brainwave. I’m thinking that maybe a battery pack for extended run time like time-lapse captures can be designed as a future accessory by DJI or third party manufacturers. I’ve been using a powerbank with varying success, but with all that extra cables can be messy. The Pocket is to encourage minimalist and wireless as much as possible

have a DJI Pocket 2 camera which is not able to connect to my Huawei Mate 40 Pro . Tried to connect and activate thru DJI Mimo app on the phone several times ,but not successful. Does any one know who to activate . With Samsung mobile phone it is possible . While trying to activate with Huawei phone, thru the DJI Mimo app, after searching for some time , it says not found. I tried to connect thru the phone adapter not thru blue tooth or by wifi ( wireless ).

I got lagging issue when connected to phone via wifi, found out that the mini controler dongle is the cause of that. The connection goes better when the controller dongle is not attached to the device.

My pocket-2-do-it-all-handle is overheating and cut the wifi between my phone and the camera after 10mn to 30mn. After this it was replaced by the technical support. I had a new one in a very short time 👍 But ... the new camera has exactly the same problem (see here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oH7UoamCbtB6gpI I did this video for the technical support) Anyone else experiencing this ? I am wondering if the white version could be not as good as the orginial black one. The technical support told me they never had this before. And me twice in row... 🤔 Thanks for your help.

Do not understand why it won't let you use 4K60 D-Cinelike with the Do-It-All Handle installed. It reverts back to Auto color mode. But with the handle disconected, D-Cinelike in 4K60 is again available. This seem nonsensical and annoying. Fix in firmware update?

Because there is extra processing power to deal with the wifi stuff. Why would you want to shoot at 60fps anyways? 24fps gives you the cinematic look.

Absolute GARBAGE will not connect to an iPhone 12 after days of troubleshooting. Everything is up to date on both devices, yet the DJI Mimo app doesn’t allow you to access wi-fi settings. When manually entering the wifi info into the iPhone, the DJI pocket 2 is undiscoverable. This very expensive add-on does not work because of software issues. What company does that remind me of? GoPro garbage!! I just thought switching from gopro to DJI would alleviate these software problems, but no. Me owning the most widely distributed phone and camera still did not allow me full access to this product. Asshole designers can’t keep their hardware and software departments in communication to avoid stupid f-ing errors that break the device that you spend $100 dollars on just to have BASIC WIRELESS FUNCTIONALITY!! They build drones, yet this camera can’t be panned and controlled wirelessly while on a tripod. I’m pissed with the money I invested into this brand that is no better than their worst competitor GoPro! Damnit!!!!

@@DJITutorials I will be calling Monday, however this is the 2nd product of DJI I have purchased that required sending in for troubleshooting because of software issues. The other product is the Mini 2 drone which stopped pairing after its third use. You fixed the drone, but it was gone for a month, and I needed this camera now. I am always hoping to just get worry free products after buying them brand new without having to fix them immediately. 2 for 2 on defective software from DJI for me and it’s feeling frustrating. All the cameras are awesome when working, but I can’t rely on them working in general :( Thank you for responding to my frustrations!

@@DJISupportGlobal I chose to return the Do-it-all handle and accompanying microphone instead of sending in for “repair”. I’ll just have to use the camera without those features. Awesome cameras with very questionable software. Compatibility should be high priority, instead of relying on your in-house apps like Mimo maybe there are better options? It shouldn’t be difficult to pair your hardware with the most common cell phone in the world.

@@DJITutorials can you please let me know what the wireless wifi range of the do-it-all module is. The wifi adapter on the osmo pocket 1 only works properly for about 15 meters, after that image transmission fails and controlling the gimbal as well. Since i’m using the osmo on a wiral lite cable cam, this simply is not enough. Please let me know whether the range of the do-it-all module has improved with regards to the previous wifi module of the osmo pocket 1. I’m still really pleased with my current osmo but i’m definetly buying the Pocket 2 when the range has improved. Thanks a lot!
