I've never used a gimbal for my work. I'm sort of intimidated by them, not sure if I'm missing out because so far I've got away with not using one. At the moment I go hand held or monopod.

Are you sure that sliding the briefcase handle DOWN is correct?

@ check out the briefcase handle and look at the connector. One side has a sticking out bit of plastic. I *think* this should be at the bottom to act as a safety to stop the gimbal slipping down through the connector should anything come loose. Kinda like a little shelf. To make this act as a shelf you should put the handle on by sliding the connector UP onto the gimbals side

@hejlsberg I use a DJI mic out of studio. Although I'm also waiting for something new from Godox that looks interesting. Hope to post it next weekend. 😉

I think its about time to upgrade my gimbal. But when you say things like " download the app" , "login with your DJI account" and "firmware updates" it makes me want to keep using my old one. I hope you can calibrate and have all the necessary tool without the need for an app! I can't tell you how many times I was ready to fly a DJI drone but I had to do a firmware update first! I hope they have improved that.

DJI are notorious for firmware updates. In a way it's good as the R&D Depth are working on continuous improvement.

@ I think you should slide the handle onto the side, by sliding it upwards so that the little groove on the handle connector is at the bottom.
