Almost...I think a little higher and you make it. That's a great open place to do that....being away from wifi interference is a huge part of getting a good distance.

That's the truth. WiFi interference I'm sure has a lot to do with it. So I figured in the middle of the woulds was perfect. I definitely should of been a little higher and I would have got it easy.

@@MichaelJohnsonProductions Really I've never used the cable in all my flights. Thing that helped most make sure change wifi channel to the 2.4 channels instead of 5.8 it's set at stock. Video quality not quite as good but range much better.

Thanks man. Yes sir this thing is incredible. It is impossible to crash or loss. It has censers all around it so you cant hit anything and GPS so it can never get lost. Pretty amazing. Ive had it for about a year now and just thought of doing a video with it lol.

Wow, man....I was nervous for you. I just bought a fly more combo lava red Spark off Amazon last night and should be flying it this weekend--pretty excited! Thank you for the video. I want to fly my Spark out over the ocean 1/2 mile and shoot over a small rock with Seals resting on it and back. Based on your video, I should have no problem doing that, but I don't like the idea of not having line of sight. Nerve-racking!!!!! Thanks buddy, I subbed!

Hi I'm wondering if you can help. I have the Spark but it won't go no further than 35meters all around from where I'm standing, it's sucks! I have my phone connected to the controller and drone via WiFi and it has the very latest update. It's not on beginner mode and I have the max altitude and distance set at 300 meters, what could it be?

If you have the extra Money I would get the mavic mini. The spark is great. But your buddy is selling you that drone to get the mavic mini im sure lol. The mavic mini should in 2.7k the spark only shoots in 1080p. The mavic mini has better range then the spark. The mavic mini has new technology as well. It just newer. The batteries are fresh as well. But if you dont have the extra money get the spark. Either way you are going to be happy.

Yeah man. It's pretty awesome. It got back pretty fast. Faster then it took going out. I had to cut it because I can't ended up saying some stuff I didn't want in the video lol. It is pretty awesome though. Thanks so much for watching

Nice try. You can continue to fly without video connection, which is what you lost. The remote was probably still connected to the Spark. You just lost the video signal. Probably would have made the 5,280 then turned back. Love my Spark!

I think you are absolutely correct. I love my spark as well. I've actually done lots of jobs with it which required me to go over a mile. I was 800 feet in the air though which helps with connections. This day I was recording was extremely windy so it made me nervous lol. Thanks for watching
