+pansitfly Updates are always being implemented; although, the X5 will work immediately after installation but may require updates shortly after.

Wow, your X5 looks amazing. I have been considering buying the new Inspire 1 Pro, but I have seen so many videos on KZbin where the video looks so soft or out of focus (even compared to the X3), have you done anything in post to make yours look so clear? Thanks!

It takes time to get used to the much larger light sensor (dealing with focal points and such) but I have noticed some of our footage does look a little soft at times and when that happens we add a little sharpening layer in post with Adobe Premiere Pro! I see, but if you had a chance to do it all over again, would you buy the X3 instead. I really have a hard time see detail now with my iPad Air and Phantom 3 (that's razor too sharp) and I don't what the hassle of having to do extra work in Post, especially if going adding more noise or take too much time. I also noticed that the lens on the X3 is a bit wider and that seems to look nicer.. to me. Thanks again!

+Bobster986 They are both great cameras and they both have individual strengths: Ie: The x3 seems to be slightly crisper in *video but it blows the x3 out of the water when it comes to photos. The x5 is also the dominant power when it comes to low light shooting (photo and video) given the 8x larger light sensor. Hope this helps! the x5 is stronger all around

Thank you! You must keep in mind that this Inspire 1 is one of the originals with original motors, that being said lets say you are flying around like crazy you will probably see between 5-8 minutes of flight time (before you hit 30%)!

+PN Eventos Musicais Hello! One of the only justifications for spending 2k on this camera would be the low light capability improvements (larger light sensor) and higher quality photos (12mp to 16mp with the X5) Hope this helps!

+Ec130Rhine Hey there. No, the new camera installation does not require new motors for the Inspire. You may experience slightly lessened flight times because the props are working a little harder, but they can handle it.

+Cyranova Nautilus Yes! We have noticed that going from the X3 to X5 on the Inspire 1, the battery life has decreased by 2-4 minutes (depending on use) due to the increased payload.
