It just doesn't work, i've tried with two batteries. As you can see in the video the LEDs are working but i guess that is just function of the current capacity. He is faking the connection to the charger simply because it won't charge. BMS is not providing/requesting current once you turn on the battery most likely because it is in a sort of safe mode (i guess saved in an eeprom). There are some videos about i2c communication with BMS but people reported it is not working anyway

I just wanted to thankyou for this video. I had a dead MP2 battery. I followed your steps and charged my battery with a 12v rc charger like you said @ 2.0a for 30 mins. Reassembled and now I have a working battery! Battery had only 2 charges before it went dead. Again THANKYOU! 🙂

Thanks for sharing your feed back on fixing the mavic battery! kindly advice my mavic was crashed in pool, (drone I had recovered it) but battery was similar case but gradually its dead even no blinking light. I can fix it with the same way which you did? let me know thanks

when the battery falls below the minimum it does not charge. You need to charge the battery with a 12 volt charger

@@hobbychanel5798 I see, similar to a batery reanimation, like wen some one uses the batery all the way to zero percent and the batery will not charge again it need some stress inpulses to start charging again/some times, other times over discharge kills the batery or the cell

i have a similar problem, my battery says broken cell but is charging and all only one cell voltage is lower similar to not balanced, with 2 cells at diffrente voltage: cell's 4.24V then 4.23V then 3.87V?

On and off the charger while working the indicator for a few minutes at a time can do the same thing. 3rd round and battery is now taking charge.

Or would it be better before plugging in the iMax charger to reactivate the cells? Because this battery is only 1 cycle and does not charge because it is with 2.4v

If swollen one or more of the cells are bad and cannot be fixed. Discharge as much as possible and recycle properly.
