You know I have so much respect for this song and this man. This song brings me so much memory and healing. The time I listened to song, I was facing a nasty divorce from my narcissist ex wife. I went through verbal degrading because she was so high maintenance. She tried to use child support to break me into pieces. If it had gotten worse, I would committed suicide. We Went through counseling with a pastor at the end, it was always me me me she was complaining about. The day I got divorced for the first time, I heard this song in my car, I broke down in tears 😭. Here I am asking myself what did I do wrong because it was the very first time I was madly in love 💕 with someone 4 years older than me. All this time never realized that going to marriage counseling was to prepare me to become a better man and I thank God for it. Now I remarried to an amazing sexy wife beautiful both outside and inside, a supportive confidant and am a proud husband of two beautiful girls.

Lenny Williams put his heart ❤️ and soul into this song. You literally could feel his pain. Even the band felt every note 🗒️ that he sung, especially the horn section. Music can be so powerful that it can move a person to tears. Some iconic songs can do that, and this song is no exception.
