Thank you La India for this beautiful song there is another version of this song that I am searching for that I only heard once. This song helped me through a very dark time when I experienced the loss of my partner. On my trips to the hospital after work I was so tired and at times I didn't want to go from fear of losing losing them but this song resonated within me as a source of inspiration to endure because being in love was the only thing we had at the end of the journey and to know that these simple hands and heart could no more then to love through the dark is how I was able to find the light within me I thank God for the experience and always for the opportunity for a new day in this journey called life. Right now my friend is going through the same incident and all that comes to my mind is this song but his heart is too hurt to accept it right now. Love is such a element.

Vincent Montana showed India this song he had for a long time written so she heard it and recorded a jazz version for her JAZZIN album in 1996. They loved the results so much that Louie decided to remix it in 1997 adding new lyrics ( All inspiration from La India )but the song became more popular in 1999 when he RE-remixed the song with new beats and made the videoclip and everything and became a Huge success with More Versions than Any other house song ever recorded . I do have more than 600 different versions from many Dj’s around the world in My collection . Thanks Lil Louie and India for creating this .

Amazing information! I've just heard the first version with Tito Puente. It doesn't change much, only a latin touch. MAW copy and paste 😂
