Something amazing to take notice of when Djokovic is on the other end is the incredible consistent depth he can produce as the balls land near the baseline close to Zverev’s feet making it difficult for Zverev to hold the rally. Split screen side view from 6:35. Point play from 32:25. Leave a 👍 if you enjoyed and considering subscribing for more Court Level Tennis coming soon!

lol I don't think a moderate paced rally down the middle is going to give Zverev any trouble.

its easy to see how great is djokovic lateral move on the court, he put himself always in the right position to hit with his body weight forward.

Huge difference in technic skills. Djokovic is hitting the ball clearly like 95%, Zverev maybe 8/10.

djokovic has close to ideal technique on both wings. zverev has a world class backhand but quite poor forehand technique for being an olympic champion
@seaneckhart99148 ай бұрын
The difference between Djokovic and others is he can hit the ball comfortably at any position: high, low, waist height with deadly accuracy

i’m going to make a video in the future on why his backhand is world class and why he struggles on his forehand.

Open your racket head more to get more power. Tricky thing is you need also more spin. So the right technique is necessary.

very very nice moves from Sacha..I feel like he's wasting energy though with ample movements like these. Compare with the simplicity of Nvak's backhand for instance. Not easy to be a tall tennis player!
@YTviewer20992 ай бұрын
I thought Nole is a better competitor and all these top guys pretty much have the same level. But even Zverev, a former world number 2, a proper base liner with huge ground strokes off both wings is having trouble staying in the rally with Novak. If Novak is playing at even his 70 per cent, you have to absolutely red line and then keep that level for 3 out of 5 sets to have a chance to beat Djokovic on a hard court in grand slams.

Ngl this was not the best from both. They were so inconsistent especially in the 'bowtie drill.' I'd expect them to be having solid rallies. Still great players tho.

Apart from Nole who doesn't need any more words, it is such pity that Zverev did not win a single GS, he had all qualities except a good trainer. I wished Becker will train him but I do not know why they never collaborated. I think it is too late for him now, I feel he has that injury anxiety after that awfull accident and he does not go all out.
@NamTran-xc2ip8 ай бұрын
He’s a choker.
@TTGamingTrinh8 ай бұрын
lol if you talk about injury anxiety, it's thiem. Zverev is back in the top 10 after the injury. The thing that is stopping him from a GS right now is how tough the competition out there

5:34 is what's super annoying practicing with people sometimes. like cmon, the ball was SLIGHTLY hit away from the middle. jog your ass over there and return the ball back lol. not everything is gonna be perfectly down the middle sheesh

every error in practice translates to approximately 3 errors in a real game. Djokovic never being the reason the rally ended once is more impressive than you think.
