Born and raised in Northern Ireland here. Iowa is my second home after coming there for school and continuing to live there afterward. I now live in Canada, but Iowa is considered home still.

Michigan fan here, moved to Iowa some years ago. I consider myself a Michigan and Iowa fan, this is a big reason why. First time they ever did this it was obviously the classiest thing in football I've ever seen. Great stuff.

I am a Buckeye fan. The wave touches my heart every time. I love seeing not only the Hawkeyes, but the opposing team wave to the kids. This is true caring and sportsmanship. Unfortunately, Penn State and James Franklin didn't wave. I find this extremely sad. Every other team joins in in the wave, but not the Nittany Lions. Shame on you, Penn State!🙁

Is this the first time we've had the "ANF" flags?? LOVE IT!! Thank you for covering all of the excitement of a Saturday in Kinnick Stadium. One time a couple of years ago, I was in a store in Iowa City, and had a t-shirt with the Tiger Hawk and the words "The Swarm". I had a man come up to me and ask me what it meant. I explained to him that our colors are black and gold, or yellow, like Honey Bees, and when the players come out of the tunnel onto the field as well as back to the tunnel later, they are in rows, holding hands in every row, giving the appearance of some very large Honey Bees. He thought that was pretty cool. I think we need to re-introduce that shirt again.

djruden Thank you for such an amazing video. On one of the Iowa football pages, it has gotten at least 750 likes from the fans, people are so thrilled with how you captured so many of the things that makes Kinnick such a special place on Saturdays in the fall. It's too bad that the Penn State team chose not to be a part of our tradition of waving to the families at the top of U of I Stead Family Childrens Hospital. Not everyone in that hospital is from Iowa. We have families from surrounding states as well.

@@djruden - That's nice of him. It's too country for football tho - and not very upbeat for kids. ... @@danpals7678 Hy-Vee has the highest prices and so much random stuff attached to everything to seemingly save customer’s money, but it’s mostly worthless. Also, it’s hard to believe that Hy-Vee was a great company to work for. I personally have known dozens of store employees, and many of them hated it. Corporate is even worse. Finally, their owner is a greedy chud who makes poor business decisions, wasting millions of dollars to “partner” with celebrities like Mark Wahlberg lol. There’s always only one register open after 10:00 PM in many stores, regardless of the line, and no one ever helps you at the self-checkout aisles.
