His quote to which he told our team (to which we all laughed it off.) was "at least Superman was here to save the day!" I will never forget that... Man, I don't know why, but the story of Hollywood Superman hit me as particularly tragic. Feels like the story of a man who tried as hard as he could to do the right thing, but completely lost control of his life, and it caught up to him just as he was starting to regain that control. I also feel terrible for his girlfriend, I can't imagine what it's like to not only find the person you love dead, but in the circumstances she did.

First, the goal isn't that big of a deal and for such a small value, physical rewards aren't to be expected. Second, judging from his routine, I could see his desperation and depression. Finally, even though both cases are true, he still fulfilled partly of his wishes of making tens of thousands of souls happy and entertainment. I pray for him and his girlfriend's peace.

The ballast tank is also used to balance watercraft that are made of steel and thus very heavy. They work a tad bit like those oil and water things that continually tip back and forth that are a desk toy that was popular in the 80s, except this is with water and air. I worked on an aircraft carrier which had a system of 4 interconnected tanks at corners of the ship. They also help to stabilize hard and fast turning. In a submarine, it also keeps the vessel upright by using gravity. Anyway, that's the layman's explanation. I don't know much more than that, I was a radar tech!

The thing that I feel was passed over or missed in this video is that "The Hollywood Superman" was severely mentally ill. He had harassed the mother of Christopher Reeve to try and get her to admit he (Christopher Dennis) was actually her illegitimate child. He had also gotten in trouble tons of times for yelling at, harassing, and generally acting like a person on meth towards tourists. So, as sad as his story is, he wasn't just some tortured artist battling demons. He was a sick man, who through drugs and hard living ended up seriously deluded and even violent (especially if you dared tell him that he may not actually be related to Christopher Reeves). Still a tragic story, and tragic that he wasn't committed, and helped to get well.

Another awesome episode! Your video production skills are getting better - not that they were ever lacking.

What the general lee behind the husband in the picture didnt give away that he was a klansmen? I'm surprised that they didnt get the flag on top the car in the picture there its usually the main reason one takes a picture with the general lee

So the Dukes Of Hazzard were Klansmen then?

@treeghettox I know you're pathetic because you'd have to be to actively wish suffering and death on someone for doing drugs I can't imagine being so insecure that I have to act in such a way behind an anonymous youtube troll account I kinda feel bad for you

@@SlapadelicMusic To be fair the homeless who are addicts or are mental need to be arrested, taken off the streets and given the proper medical help they need. All the crazies living on the street in California make people antagonistic to them.

VERY small detail, but I love how during the Mad Mike section you used music from Kerbal Space Program and Space Engineers. Great touch!!

Maybe Jared died when his phone "literally" blew up from messages... Or maybe Slopes just doesn't know the meaning of the word "literally" 😂

How can we just gloss over the fact that a man's phone literally blew up! And right after someone claimed he was dead too... rough week
@tarotsushima33322 жыл бұрын
That's a figure of speech. I'm sure Slope meant the guy got bombarded with so many notifications, not that the phone actually exploded.

Ok the use of Space Engineers music for a story about a man that builds a rocket himself that fails to perform properly resulting in death is brilliant

Also watching that story unfold at the time was surreal, and I genuinely didn't realize how little he actually was involved with the flat earth conspiracy theory.

So you makes us feel sorry about Frank and then reveal he was in the Klan… what a twist

Is this a reupload? I swear the first and last stories have been covered before.

Kind of. It's a collection of stuff from older videos. It's stated outright in the video description but he's really vague about it in the video. It's weird.

the sub story is, he talks about 2018 so it was filmed long ago

@@AkumaKristian Ah, OK. I was beginning to wonder if I had heard of them from other channels since the rest of the stories didn't ring a bell.

That last one was basically the plot to a Stieg Larsson novel.
