100% Items, 100% Messages, All Animatronic Battles, No Deaths in 2h54m17s - FNaF Security Breach

Yay! Finally not softlocked! I'm going to premiere this, so I'll be in chat as well as recording my observations to send to Steel Wool. Run from start of Freddy's appearance to me getting the very last Gift Box is 2h54m17s. Very happy with that! In-game time is also somewhat lower since I show inventory a few times and have to load again after the Mazercise buttons act all wonky. I don't know if I needed to exit or not for something official, but if that's the case, I have a separate clip of me running to the save for a total of 2h57m05s -- but I did goof around and talk w/ Freddy a bit, as I'm not expecting that it's a requirement for collecting 100% of everything in the game (would be sub-2:57 easily without that). 126 Items, 50 Messages (shown in-vid). Still hoping for a Performance patch!

I wouldn't object to a peaceful post-story mode where you can just explore the entire megaplex without any threats and interact with passive variants of the animatronics. I can imagine that the other animatronics are a lot more fun to talk to when a merciless bloodthirsty zombified cyborg isn't using mind control on them.

First of all, great job on this play through! It’s nice seeing everything collected in one go, and no deaths, which is very challenging to do. However, this will never really be a 100% play through. Because the Trophy Time achievement is bugged, so only 28/29 achievements are accessible. Still, awesome job.

Dj Sterf has always been the best fnaf player imo, the fact he had several failed runs yet he consistently makes amazing commentary in this long, painfully difficult run to perform is simply amazing. That's not considering his achievements in all the fnaf games. He deserves so much love and respect!

God thank you Sterf for mentioning that the area around 16:47 might be scripted because I figured that out after dying twice and have heard so many creators get frustrated with Chica "teleporting" there when it's a scripted chase sequence. I think SW should have made it more obvious that it was scripted though. A cutscene of some kind would have been nice

I love how chill this "Speedrun" is, there are so many bugs and technically difficulty with the game you just take time to save and put the voice back on. Speedrunning is indeed serious but when that's the state of the game you are running I am glad you aren't pushing yourself trough too much crap.

sterf made the atrium sound booth section look so easy i made the mistake of saving after getting passed roxy because i always save every chance i get. and then chica got me. i wasn’t too upset since i could just reload right at the escalator. however, due to where roxy spawns on her floor, i would get spawned camped by her and have to wait for rng to spawn her far enough away for me to actually play the game.

Yeah -- there's some definite issue w/ spawn points during the Sound Booth mission as well as the Prize Counter area if you save and reload from there.

Literally so relatable, I saved right after you place the disk and start getting chased by vanny. Chica wasn't far in front neither was vanny far behind so I basically I'm screwed until I decide either to somehow pass it or just restart ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1:16:08 I found a bug while going through that vent. If you call Freddy while in that vent, you can come out the other side, do the shooty balls, then get the Monty roar cutscene, you'll find that Freddy teleports around aggressively and crazily. It was the most hilarious thing I had seen in a while.

I like this fnaf game, but I feel like it’s really lost it’s umph. Like the story used to be disturbing and eerie but now I get a whole different vibe from the lore. When fnaf one came out the animatronics weren’t supposed to be seen as very advanced robots that had feelings and personalities they were supposed to be normal low quality restaurant animatronics that had dead children inside. It was just way scarier than it is now.

@@stormbornapostle5188 tbh I don't think he was necessarily phoning it in - or, if he was because I can see the argument for that, it was a product of no longer caring about the franchise, which to me is the saddest part. I don't have fun watching someone unless they're having fun playing a game, and Mark used to have a lot of fun with the FNAF games. obviously, all of our interests change and morph over time, so I'm not saying he's Wrong™️ for no longer being interested, but it was just unfortunate to see. it's, of course, possible that there's something going on in his private life that just made him seem uninterested in the game. sometimes when something is going on, it's hard to have fun and fully escape into enjoyable activities, and maybe he was just not feeling it on the days he was recording. BUT it was disappointing to see he wasn't enjoying himself, regardless of the reason. he's more than popular enough to pass on playing a FNAF game if he's not feeling it, so if he wasn't feeling it, he just shouldn't have played, imo

1:13:19 it is extremely important to save your game here BEFORE touching any of the controls on the wall. Do not override your save here no matter what. He ends up loading back his save as he does it wrong the first time and you don't want to make yourself learn how to do the puzzle properly like I had to (There is no reset button, once you play with the controls, you're locked in with that configuration).

@@HusseinRizk-eg2yo Fortunately there were many patches that helped with lag quite a bit. Newer versions of the game don't have this big a problem with lag (though they still do have some issues).
