Using The Pioneer DDJ-SZ With Rekordbox DJ

I have a DDJ-SZ, and its probably one of the best controllers out there... If you're used the cdj's, then this is the controller to go for. The only thing is, it takes a little time getting used to the touch technology on the jog wheels.

also i have used the DDJ-SX and like the scroll knob and 'load' (track) buttons but they seem to be missing on the SZ?

Rekrodbox DJ is an awesome programme ;) You'll like it I have got a ddj-sr too and it works very good with it ;)

Hi, I noticed the colour on the performance pads are all the same when playing with Rekordbox Dj, is that something that can be edited to have different colours on the pads like in Serato Dj?

i like how Rekordbox has a 2 decimal place bpm. Serato only seems to have one. Is that right?

You can change that in the serato settings somewhere, saw a video on that

Hi. I have a doubt. I used rekordbox with a ddj sx and no problems. I just bought a ddj sz., With serato is great, but with rekordbox I hang the pc. It's an i7 with 8 gb of ram. Have you configured something special? Thank you

The DDJ-SZ is not really resource hungry, not in my experience... Have you the latest firmware & drivers installed?

hi . juz wana share with u . well I m also using ddj sz with rbdj since 2016 , but recently after Pioneer update the firmware 1.21 and driver 1.2 for RBDJ 5.2.0 . I have serious problem with dropouts .Very surprisingly the dropouts happens roughly 1 hours after running , I am using Dell AW 15R2 16GB Ram 258gb m.2 ssd + 500 gb ssd hd , and I never had any issue before this. I hope pioneer is not trying to stop supporting this unit . This is a flagship controller and please let it as way as it is . thanks

Traktor official mapping sucks! No leds on cue play and roll and slicer is a joke lol, interesting about rekordbox though, im not a fan of serato effects.
