DJ didn't realize how ignorant his comparison was between Pac & Von, he thought actually being the killer rapper was gonna garner more respect than the ARTIST who wrote songs like Brenda Gotta Baby, Keep Your Head Up, & Dear Mama. Unfortunately DJ don't understand the difference between a man and a boys mindset yet. Pac was born in Harlem, and his revolutionary mama got him out, got him into art school. He was a poet, an actor, a revolutionary, an ARTIST...AND VON WAS NONE OF THOSE THINGS. Von will never have a museum of his platinum albums, movie credits, outfits, or poems. He died as he was, a dope drill rapper from Chicago who wasn't WISE enough to make the transition. The only thing Von & Pac have in common is they're both dead, but this dude foolish af for acting like being a real killer is more admirable than being a real artist who touched the world with his music. Universities study Pacs poems, they analyze his thoughts, words, lyrics... they have classes on Pac. Von will have no such thing unless its to study the ignorance of gangs & death...I didn't even know who he was till he died, he's yalls hero, not ours. These kids is so outta touch, they can't be honest with themselves.

The reason they don't agree is because they been taught the wrong way in order for those taring down the community to continue to do so. They use excuses like poverty and count themselves out with out trying. They don't have better because they don't expect better or better themselves and keep their side of the street clean. They think one person can't make the difference which we've been shown that's not valid. Also , those who think that negative jargon look at those who try to live different as lames or nerds or goodie two shoe. That's the problem write is taught to be wrong and wrong taught to be right. The scripture explains all these actions and behaviors. Kingdoms,nations, family, churches,races, will be divided against themselves.

This is a great interview. You definitely can see the difference in opinion, belief, and background between the 2, which would usually turn into more of an argument rather than a conversation. It was nice to see that somewhere in this world, somebody is having a conversation about important issues.

Im a white man so noone cares what I have to say. But, ive shared his thought for years about "drill music". It started in the 80's with "gangsta rap" and the east coast/west coast so called feud. I have been a fan of music and a musician for most of my life and imho, music is one form of real "magic" that we have. Its invisible. It can change a person's perception of the world and influence them to do good things or do bad things. Its a very powerful thing.
@user-wl3id6oi3g2 жыл бұрын
I believe that also. Did you know that satan was a beautiful angel in heaven. God made him in charge of the music . Pretty crazy how the best music is “worldly music” ( like rap about hoes,money, everything that’s not positive. And the music that is . Ain’t played
