It just so that ppl can search easier on what kind of dubstep they wanted to hear haha. And u will find this kind of thing on the edm genre too. I dont make this up. But i kinda get your point. People just like to make stuff especially the fans 😂

ROBOSTEP? robostep. GAH CRUNKSTEP? CRUNKSTEP! but if you really put it down to the core it's just dubstep or if you wanna go even lower to the lost molecules of time you would call it edm! it's honestly perfectly fine if people call it riddim or whatever, just educating :3
