Ricky Roma no, it’s meaning that we Pentecostal’s believe that God is made up of three people, God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is the Father, Jesus is the Son and the Holy Spirit(also known as the Holy Ghost) is the holy spirit

The Crabb family does an awesome job singing good, old-fashioned gospel music. They have brought back and reminded much of our modern "contempary christian" churches have lost. They sing with Holy Ghost annointing and not just some hyped up, rocked out tempo. Read and obey Acts 2:28

CharlieApostolic that's the raised from the time I was born. You said something about dancing in the Spirit, One time my Dad was in the Spirit dancing behind a row of chairs on the platform and the Spirit of the raised him up over the chair in front of him. He danced around (still in the Spirit) and then raised him back up and put him back where he started. He was unaware that it had all happen. Now that was a Spirit filled service.
@monicagoats13818 жыл бұрын
OH MY GOODNESS! I heard of one that was a huge service in a theater and a lady on the stage started shouting and was twirling toward the edge of the stage. Though everyone was worshiping God, a ton of people saw her. As soon as her feet hit the edge of the stage the music stopped and everyone went silent and watched as she was the only one worshiping God and she was dancing in mid air WITHOUT FALLING! Then she twirled back toward center stage and the music started up and the place erupted in the loudest praise almost as if God's orchestra of angels had stopped just to give God a spotlight and show what he could do! I want to see more of those!

Every state has lots of churches that sing these songs every Sunday the same way. ...But they're the small black churches, I was actually surprised to see this praise group singing this song like this I thought that only the small black churches praised like this all of the time, but they've got soul so if you can't find the Crabb Family, stop by your local black holiness church, and you'll always hear this type of praise and a move of the HOLY GHOST! I pray that I didn't offend anyone by this comment.

@monicagoats13818 жыл бұрын
My dad grew up "heathen" and some of his family were hypocrites. My mom grew up Catholic and some of them were hypocrites too. I wasn't raised UPC... but I was once a part of a good Christian private school and some of them were hypocrites. Not to mention I was part of a local political organization that helped raise money for candidates and a bunch of them were MAJOR hypocrites. So basically what were we talking about exactly? Just because there are hypocrites in a church or organization reflects NOTHING on the actual argument or belief of that body of people. It just means that those people don't have their stuff together. The best place for hypocrites to be is the church. ANY CHURCH. That's one of the only places they can find help for their issues. It's a personal problem.

Chauntel Bland . Hey Brother Chantelle, all I can say is.....AMEN AND AMEN! And BTW, (my skin happens to be white). Ha! And to tell you a funny story, one of the BIGGEST COMPLIMENTS that I’ve EVER received in my life. I am a musician also, and I play several instruments, but I was playing the piano in show one night (and I am real big on playing with a lot of feeling and playing a lot of bass rolls with my left hand), and this precious old black man called me to the side of the stage and said the following...”Little lady...you have the blackest left hand I have EVER HEARD” from a little white girl. Ha! To this day...Still one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received. So I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE REFERRING TO. It’s about playing with feeling, not just playing the notes and singing. But “PLAYING WITH ALL YOU HAVE”! And to the Glory of GOD ALMIGHTY . Glad you mentioned it.

When looking at this video. Seems to me to over productive. Ive seen many hyms on youtube just not accurately done right. An not with enough heart. these are true holy songs that can ring fire in the hearts of many. I'm bless to have been grown up in a penticost church that nocked the dust off the songs of hyms. an truely do them right. I understand what your saying. Some hims are just not the right tempo but you see some people do them right because they were brought up in penticostal churches.

No one in the Bible was baptized in the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Matt. 28:19 says to "baptize in the name", not titles. Acts 4:10-12 says that no other name will save you, except the name of Jesus. Be blessed.

We are Jesus Name Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals and our ladies wear makeup and cut their hair it is a conviction thing and if God lays it on your heart then quit whatever it might be. We don't judge everyone by the same conviction of one. We also don't act haughty as most Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals do we let God Judge and convict and then it's up to us to live right!
@monicagoats13818 жыл бұрын
You're totally right that you can't force someone to have your convictions. I've got friends of all types from all religious experiences, including Muslims, and though I KNOW not all are right (it's physically impossible), at least most people are searching for a deeper walk with God. We are all just at different levels in experience with God. It depends on what part of the journey you are on as to whether you have certain convictions. The closer you get to the Light the more you see yourself in that light and want to make changes. Thankfully I was raised to respect people and allow God to find people guilty or blameless, so I honestly don't mind either way as long as you are in obedience to your man of God who is watching out for your soul. If you disobey the recommendation of your pastor, obviously that's dangerous ground for not making it to heaven since a man of God is there to tell you what God wants. However, there is this misconception about why some Apostolic Pentecostal ladies DON'T wear makeup and cut their hair. It is based off of historical facts and actual BIBLE references in the New and Old Testament. In the New Testament. 1 Corinthians 11 is an example why men should keep their hair shorter and women keep their's longer. 1 Timothy 2:9-10 states "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But* (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works." It's been noted throughout history (as early as the Egyptians in Bible days) that the only women who wore makeup were prostitutes. The whole original goal of makeup was to accentuate and seduce. I don't in any way want to be offensive so I'll write that fact off since most people don't realize that was the case and I don't blame them since the makeup industry doesn't tell them. In more recent years, in the early 1900's it was "WRONG" to wear makeup in all of society (other than prostitutes since they obviously don't follow rules and probably don't pay taxes either! LOL). The only women who wore makeup in America back 100 years ago were actresses, and they were viewed as being loose women despite most of them probably weren't. The actual wearing of the makeup isn't whats viewed as "bad" by some Pentecostals, its the spirit of the matter because its not who you are naturally. You are playing a role and being someone different than you are. Though many may only wear a "little", rarely does the SPIRIT of it stop there. It's just like in even MORE recent times, such as online dating... Is it wrong to say you are 6' tall and totally fit with a high paying job when you are homeless and fat? At what point does it make it ok to fib a "little"? The Bible says ALL liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. I am in no way saying those that wear makeup will go to hell, that's between them and God. What I am saying is that those that choose to be modest in dress, modest in face and keep their hair long, choose to do so because they would rather be on the safe side. Plus there is a lot of added benefits like low stress and high self esteem since we don't give a flying hoot what society says is acceptable! HAHA! We believe everyone is acceptable if you DO right rather than LOOK right. What's on the inside will make you do what you do on the outside. Hopefully that was helpful.
@dewright1007 жыл бұрын
Women not cutting their hair and not wearing pants and makeup isn't a conviction its Biblical. Do a youtube search for Raymond Woodward/ Holiness. Its a very eye opening Bible study. I think you'll be blessed by it.
