The problem with 20 yard routes, they take time to develop. Buffalo's pass rush is good Rousseau and Epenesa outside with Oliver up the middle. Is the Seahawk Oline that good in protection?

I thought that was a bit unfair towards Bobo. It's not like he's known for that, and it's not like Tyler and DK have never dropped balls. That was a moment where I was like "Geno! Step Back".

If Geno puts that ball in Bobo’s chest or in front of him, he catches it. Thrown behind him as he’s running, much harder to catch.

@@badass1g adjusting to an under thrown ball down the field is easier. Cause he is going the same direction as the ball. Adjusting to an under thrown ball while going across the formation… have to completely stop and get turned around while all his momentum carrying him out of bounds. Bobo should have yelled at Geno.

If it comes down to a shoot out with the Bills, losing DK will obviously hurt the chances of winning.

@@w3105 my concern is there is no one that can stretch the field as DK can. JSM is too young. Lockett does not have the height or power advantage. BoBo is too slow, speaking in relative terms off course. So who can Geno go to if he needs to throw it deep and have confidence the receiver will go up and gets it.

@@Commonlogicguy We won’t need as many long balls if our running game gets off to a good start, short passes can make up the difference as long as we run the ball well with consistency, Walker should have an even better game since he’s not sick anymore, get him and charbenau going early 🤷‍♂️

@@w3105 that is the other problem, run game needs a good o-line and you know how good the o-line is. The reason why Geno had a field day with Atlanta because falcons does not have any pass rush to speak of. But bills going to be different. So if the passing game is limited and bills can stack the trench and put on pressure, that is going to make for a long night.

@@Commonlogicguy yeah, when Geno gets under pressure, his play is effected, he had a clean pocket most of the game against Falcons, Bills have a good pass rush, so he won’t have as much time to pass and with DK not being in there, who knows, let’s hope our defense steps up in a big way, stopping the run and a couple turn overs 👍

DK on the field makes everyone else’s chances of being open - double. Him gone means all receivers get a better defender on them. It’s going to impact the offense a ton. Hope the defense can keep it in the 20’s and we might have a chance. Run it , hold the ball, get 1st downs. Not really feeling this one….

Throw the bubble screens to Shinault instead of JSN. Work JSN in the intermediate routes. Use Bobo in the red zone, use Shinault when there is a lot of distance between the line of scrimmage and the goal line. Shinault can take the safeties deep to clear the underneath routes if need be. Team will be fine. Grubb needs to distribute the ball more equitably.

not too worried considering how solid the hawk's wr2 and 3 are, but if you take out dk's production so far this season the hawks would likely be 0-7. this one will be on grub to redefine some roles in the passing game if dk can't go.
