I honestly don't even know what Connor did wrong. I think maybe he was just slightly more thorough somehow? But he definitely didn't make any mistakes. Personally, I think if there is any K. Rool overlap, either player realistically could have won

Charles was ahead coming out of Galleon part two, actually from some beautiful routing using the pre-tagged warp 5 and exiting out of Drunky Chunky the intended way. That saved him about a minute. No hard mistakes, but Connor did invest time into Chimpy Charge with Aztec Lobby and Aztec Tower, as well as Chunky Vases. Those lost him his second minute. Then he was putting off getting grape and that whole chain until he had, on the off chance Oranges just happened. The second trip back into Aztec cost him the third minute. Basically Connor didn't want it to be forced Lanky Tower for forced Feather, because that shit's slow. He knew Charles hadn't gotten Oranges, because he was checking the Racetime as early as 1:04! Which when we think about it, yeah if Charles randomly gets Oranges on a sphere 0, then yh
