Great video, I liked all attaching all treatments in red. One thing though, there's no explanation of why we see the low HCO3's ... is it all the accumulation of acidic ketones -> driving CO2 down, -> thus the HCO3 just follows to stay neutral? .. wait, if the Ketones were a siginficant acid, wouldn't the HCO3 just come up and CO2 could just stay neutral at 40?

i would like to see that and how long it takes to replace the glycogen in your liver after a dose of glucagon. i understood it takes a month to replace from emt and nurse training, but have had two doses in a single week that somehow worked.

What fluids specificly would you give to this patient? I have read in one book that fructosis is better than glucosis, because it can be metabolised without insulin, and give sugar to the cells direct. That is not very clear to me.

fats paralyse the cell and stop it getting potassium into the cell glucose transports potassium into the cell thank you maam

Insulin doesnt have to do with Fat. It binds Glucose with Potassium and "brings" it into the cell.

Insulin has effects on carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. Its essential a catabolic protein.

Beautiful presentation, I could be wrong but @ 1;29 I don't think animal cells have a central vacuole plant cells have though, please correct if am wrong.
@Campbellteaching
@Campbellteaching 4 жыл бұрын
I see what you mean, plant cells have a central sap vacuole. It is also true that adipocytes have a fat vacuole, how bit it is depends on how much fat it is storing.
