The story is that... Funky's Flights business was ruined by K. Rool and turned into a bonus room, and Funky Kong was kicked out. With that said, yeah. There were no more flights to other worlds. Even the Kremlings themselves can't get over to the other worlds to get some resources or to hang out with their friends so they LITERALLY tricked themselves.
