How many of you have watched this video more than three times? How many of you agree that this should become a world tour with Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker and Bootsy Collins? That show would be LIT!!!!
@zoneseven12222 ай бұрын
I don't know how many times I listened to this, but one thing I just can't seem to get enough of is how that rhythm section holds that groove and lets the Funk swing to its own rhythm. This is what happens when a band is comprised of MASTER MUSICIANS who all play their parts in unison and harmony like a well-oiled NBA basketball team. They don't compete with each other... they FEED OFF OF EACH OTHER, and the magic happens. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is as good as it gets!!!

Wow, what a great group of Entertainers truly enjoying the Art of making music for an appreciative audience. I started studying music when I was younger but never rose to this level. How thankful I am for Him allowing me to have seen this video. These men were some of the best during that time and I will not forget them.

Saw Roy Ayers at Ronnie Scott's in London almost yearly in the 80's and 90's. Truelly one of the best entertainers ever. Especially in that cosy setting. I was about 3 yards away from him. Absolutely fantastic.

When I think of the amazing jazz musik created by Black Americans, and how it became a worldwide phenomenon in less than 100 years after they were released from the bondages of US slavery! If only blk youth knew their history and how amazing their bloodline is; they would never consider gangs and violence as a way to live in America or anywhere else on the planet.

I guess all musicians aren't great I'm a stage/hand sound tech and Roy Ayers is a great musician but don't know what u do in the music business nor do I think musicians refer to those who may not be as good as them as bums. I guess people who can't read music would be considered bum's I don't think Jimi Hendrix felt way catch my drift.
