LOVE: This style of home (and decor) fits me perfectly!!! I’m a native Virginian (Northern Va / Metro DC - to be exact), but I love all things deep South and beachy…..it’s what speaks to me. I see several things in this house I’d change but that really doesn’t matter, I love 95% of it!! The flow is wonderful and the outdoor space (that porch) is to die for!! And, nothing beats a carriage house out back with a full efficiency for those “I’m grown but not gone” kids in grad school. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed it.

Many rooms need an update in the area to the features/finish work and even the furnishings but it holds a lot of potential in its entire main structures and floor plan, ..despite not knowing how the second floor is divided..! The video doesn’t make that clear for the viewers..!! Love the fireplace..; windows; the beautiful natural light..! Wonder how big the back yard bellow the porch in the ‘back’ happens to be..? If there is one? Thanks for putting this out for viewers!!

I love almost everything about this house, and I would change only a few things. If only the kitchen was a little bigger, and the laundry room as well. I could not have a laundry room without a sink for pre-treating stains. I would not have paneling up the dining room wall that far up. Other than that...the layout is nice, and I love that so much light comes in 😊

This house is so light spacious with tons of storage. The plan is so workable, love the kitchen with living area and love all the finishes except the bathroom tile it is not my taste but that’s just everyone’s personal preference. This was what I was supposed to have in life. I can only dream. It would take a miracle from God himself for my dreams to come true. I wanted to have a nice beautiful house and nice things, but unfortunately I married someone who doesn't care. When I was younger I worked so hard thinking.... my husband was saving money, so we could buy a house. Nope... that's not what happened. He made sure I spent all the money I worked hard for and the money he saved went towards him. He bought things that interest him. New tools, a new saw, or anything that made him happy. Now, I'm too old and I have too many health problems to do anything about it. We've been married 33 years. 33 years later I still don't have anything. 🥺😢😥💔 I pray everyday that God will somehow bless me and help me make my dreams come true. 🙏

You’re never too old, Sweetie…. I married a guy who cared about beautiful things, but was too busy with his girlfriend and too “sorry” to provide for his own children. I finally left him and with inconsistent child support was finally able to get my kids raised, graduated, and launched into their own lives…. Guy #2 is a decent, kind, man, but cares nothing about having a pretty house….. Thankfully, I am taking classes, collecting videos/photos, learning to DIY, and MUCH TOO SLOWLY 🤣 am making changes….. It’s SO frustrating to move so slowly, but I realized that changing things too quickly was driving both of us crazy…. Suggestions: Do what you can- Pick a space in your home….. Make it YOUR space….. I have purchased some beautiful items/furniture from our local Habitat for Humanity Store (Thanks, Rich Retirees 😄) …. Do you sew? Make pillows and coordinating curtains for YOUR SPACE…. Paint or add permanent (or temporary) wallpaper….. If you can’t replace the carpet/flooring, add pretty throw-rugs….. Let your husband “do his thing,” but YOU CREATE YOUR OWN beautiful space. Live-in-it and ENJOY it EVERY DAY…. If time, energy, finances, etc. permit, add another space and do the same…. Maybe, your husband or a friend would be willing to help…. You may not get the “perfect” life that you wanted (no one ever does, BTW), but you CAN take your POWER back and make YOUR SPACE as beautiful as possible…. Enjoy, the journey, my Friend. ❤️
