Indian army is the 4th strongest army in the world and they don't have particular uniform. india is a seventh largest country and different security forces according to the region of line of control they have uniform.And the place shown in music video is called Ladhak and yaa its a desert but it is the only high altitude desert which is known as cold desert.

This is based in Northeast India where climate is a lot different and not hot. And this is supposed to be in 1962 during India-china war [India lost and the state of Arunachal Pradesh was occupied by china; later china withdrew. The same state is now claimed by china as Southern Tibet.] So the dress is according to that time to fit cold climate. And at that time India was... well, it had been less than 20 years after british left after they had sucked our country dry for 200 years.

no its not based on northeast India , its based in Uttarakhand and his brother was either part of Kumaon regiment or Garhwal rifle which are like the two regiments of Indian army based in Uttarakhand and yes Uttarakhand is cold too

Guys again India is very diverse, not just in ethnicity, culture, language but geographically and climatically also.... India has high mountains, and deserts, plateaus, fertile plains, rivers, valleys and vast sea coasts. For your information- Cherrapunji in Assam is the place which records the highest rainfall in the World and on the other hand there is no rainfall in the deserts of Rajasthan. While 'Dras' is known to be the coldest place in India and is in list of coldest place inhabited on Earth. The average low temperature of Dras in winter are -22°C. I hope that now you won't doubt about this.

These are cold deserts of indo/china border(Ladakh) at 18000 feet above the sea level... can't roam around there without sunscreen 😂 but at the same time it's super chilly even in summers. 10°(d) to -5°(n) in summers and in winters -10°(d) to -40°(n) mostly......😖😷🤒

Lol the uniform was not very accurate because they shot this in the mountains(very cold climate) so the colour of the uniforms up there is kinda different but it has to be very bulky to keep them warm.

Well, India has almost all kind of climates. So there are all different colours, types & patterns of Army uniforms that blend with the context. As there is disputed borders in North West (with Pakistan) & in North East (with China), army - ariforce & nevy are pretty active (all though we really don't want war & hope for peace & peaceful neighbours).

That was not dessert, that was barren land near Himalayas, And the story is from 1962 ish. So the uniform is kinda old, nd outdated.. Btw they fought Chinese army entering deep into Indian northern borders, to capture land.. The end of d movie is peaceful though.
