Nagelsmann has not been poor at clubs. He had success at Hoffenheim where he was hailed as young genius. He got struggling Hoffenheim into CL twice within 2 seasons. His Hoffenheim were tactical and stylistic transformer team. Then he had success with Leipzig helping them to develop possession-oriented football mixed with original RB style and finished third and as runner-up in 2 seasons and got Leipzig into CL semis in his first season. He was successful with Bayern as he played attractive football and were smashing a lot of records with Bayern in CL and in BL. In his second season Kahn and Salihamidjic went crazy and decided to sack him prematurely just because of few draws (while his CL record was superb).

Kroos was the main part of nagelsmann's tactics, but with kroos retired we need to see how he can change his tactics and we need to see a potential replacement for kroos.

@@jannismonn6539 kimmich likes to go in front and attack he cannot replace kroos. the new system which nagelsmann developed, with the wing backs, midfielders, except kroos and stricker creat overload in the opponents d box with kroos and the two central defenders forming the defence, this stratagey is only successful only with kroos because that is Kross job just lay back and give pin point accurate pass that turns to goal and now with him gone the germanys defence and offence is compromised and no one can replace kroos.

Kroos should’ve gotten a red card in the game and Fullkburg was offside when Cucurella committed a handball. Also, the UEFA rules stated that a defender in a standing position when the ball hits their arm at or close to their side, in position vertically, it should not be punished. This is indeed a close call but it is definite not a “robbery”. Argue with a wall.

Slight correction: Julian Nagelsmann wasn't sacked duo to poor results ( even though he had lost Pokal game previous year and lost against Villareal in UCL quater, he had great season and the year when he get sacked, he was yet to lost a game in UCl, the only reason he got sacked was due to him not having great relation with Kahn and Salihamidzic and they thought Tuchel would be best coach for long term and the board didn't want to losse that oppurtunity, hence they sacked Nagelsmann and sign Tuchel, which in turn forced both Kahna and Brazzo to leave Bayern next season)
