1) His economic policies are the only reason we are not in a deep recession right now. And that is saying something after the previous administration’s policies caused this rampant inflation. Obama literally saved the economy, after George Bush Jr brought it to within two weeks of a collapse. Not a shutdown… a COLLAPSE. It took a couple years, but, we were on an uptrend going into the previous president’s admin. The pandemic policies and corporate welfare caused this inflation. The corporate stimulus knowingly cut $2 Trillion in yearly revenue. Without making it up elsewhere. Wall Street Bets and GAMESTOP was definitely a result of the rampant corporate lawlessness. People got upset at them purposely putting in Put Calls, which is betting on companies to fail. Ultimately they pumped up a false bubble, knowingly, so big that a correction or collapse was inevitable. In contrast. The stock market S&P500 just LEGIT hit it’s highest point EVER December 29, 2023. ALL TIME RECORD. Nasdaq hit it’s second highest EVER. Inflation is down to 3.2% and at least here in Cali, gas is back down below $4 in some areas. $3.97 in Cali is low. Have not seen $3.50 since like 2013. But Biden did more oil drilling and approved more contracts in 2 years than the previous admin did in 4 (this will be important later when you understand the fallout from Ukraine vs Russia) 2) His support for the Palestinians increased what Obama did 3X. He increased it from $200 million to $600 million. Not just money but also hospitals and telecommunications infrastructure. That is after the previous administration not only complete cut ALL support but also tried to have their refugee status revoked in neighboring countries. 3) He increased the HBCU pledge support from $250 Million to $2.7 Billion. Single black colleges by themself got a bigger award than the entire size of the funding package upheld from Obama and Orangeman. 4) The Emmitt Till Legislation. Which allows anti Black hate crimes to be categorized under lynching law which means they can get upto 30 Years in prison. Also the Anti Asian Hate Crime Legislation. 5) The CHIPS and Science Act. If you rely on any form of technology. 6) Willingness to stand up to Russia when the previous administration did nothing as it annexed it’s neighbors. People ask why should we aid Ukraine. Because Ukraine is one of our most important trading partners. For cooking oil, grains, steel, and gas. And it is the only inlet to the Black Sea that is not controlled by Russia which impacts the global market. If you care about the cost of telecommunications, electronics, food, bread and gas. Also, the campaign against RUS has led the EU to start purchasing oil from the US which means our economy will grow and get bigger, which in turn means that we can hopefully start getting back to pre-pandemic costs of living. Though ALOT of things are not in the hands of ANY president. And that is why Local elections are important, as well as writing to your local officials about the practices of corporations that operate in your state. Often times they have a much bigger impact on everyone’s cost of living than the president. Especially the price of goods and services, groceries, and gas at the pump.
