@@antehman2912 Yeah, I thought so too, but I also always thought that mul-t and railgunner were meant to be the successors to han-d and sniper, so I'm not sure. Edit: Looking at the replies, this does seem to get even more confusing, as railgunner happens to have a skin that heavily resembles sniper. There are also two new survivors in risk of rain returns, so those two could take the place of han-d and sniper. On the other hand though, han-d is apparently really different from mul-t when it comes to gameplay, so I'm not sure if they'd want to leave him out just because he resembles mul-t in appearance. The "we have not forgotten you" statement also wouldn't make as much sense if 2 of the ror:r survivors were added. The "we have not forgotten you" statement could also just have nothing to do with this, and it could just be a message to the ror2 community that the game hasn't been forgotten.

Everyone's saying "5 meteors, forgotten, this means the lost RoR1 characters!" But. I think everyone's forgetting someone who's *actually* been "forgotten" in the lore, someone relevant to oddly blue meteors, someone relevant to "A signal deep within" It seems like, this DLC is gonna be focused on the newt and the bazaar. The newt was seemingly "forgotten" by its pack due to being weak, allowing it to slip away into its own little hideout (the bazaar) Now, it seems its people have come searching for it, never having actually forgotten about the newt, which is a super interesting concept and I can only hope Gearbox takes it somewhere interesting

I think so too!! In the description on the steam page it mentions when the message was sent, supposedly at 01/01/0000 and then it throws an error afterwards. The error says "DTOUTOFBOUNDS EXCEPTION: TIME SENT UNKNOWN" and if there's one place in Risk of Rain without time it's the Bazaar Between Time, where your in-game timer literally gets stopped. The meteors matching the Newt's prominent blue theme (blue portal, blue lighting, blue rarity lunar items for sale, etc) also supports this, if only a little :3

Gearbox already said anything released post SOTV will be released at the same time for all platforms. The only reason it took so long to release in the first place was because they basically re-wrote the entire console code to make it more compatible to porting the PC versions over.

Had a run last night where me and a friend had a run so broken that he could freely phase through walls and map boundaries and fly basically endlessly. He got a good look at those orbs in the sky (and saw nothing remarkable) but it sure was cool to get a good look at them. Bottled Chaos sure is a whole new beast.

I know RoR2 and Ultrakill are not really the same game but if we get new characters i'd really like to see a cross-over, the musics are very similar and the humor are similar too, playing V1 in RoR2 and having guns related to RoR in ultrakill would be funny. Thes are two of the nicest communities iv'e played with and they would mix well

I told my friend a few months ago by the time DLC one comes out for risk of rain 2 on consul they’re going to have DLC 2 come out or announced by the time the first one comes to console and I was right

​@@jemarshaw4986They said they're going to try to simultaneously release for both PC and console in the future, it just took so long for SotV since the previous company messed the port up and they had to rebuild it
