Really enjoy your videos. We have a small 50 acre farm getting started and learn a-lot from all your information. Our 4710 just got to dealer and is getting a custom skid plate installed at local welding shop for some of the small brush we still have to clear in the back area of our property. Couldn’t afford the 5710 or any bigger tractor but love hearing your comparison from these bigger tractors to the 4710 to see how much if any we missing out use wise. Please keep up with all your tips and tricks videos you put out for the 4710 and farm equipment. Keep up the good work. Thanks from MS

Great review! I wish I had watched it before I bought. I think the 4710 would have been all I need (and a lot less money) but, I bought the 5711 to get the dyna 4 transmission and cab suspension. But, the brakes kicking off the auto rpm is annoying!! I asked MF if it could be disabled and the answer is no. What they tell me is that you need to uncouple the brakes and only push one pedal to maintain the saved rpm. Otherwise, you have to use the manual throttle if you are going to push both pedals. Dumb IMHO. One pedal = stops one tire. Both pedals = stop all four tires. Other than this issue, however, I'm really enjoying the tractor.

One of the best and most informative reviews yet. Different manufacturers do the same things but in different ways. I'm still learning stuff about the 5125R that's not in the manual. It will do a range change if you do a double tap on the gear leaver. But if you do a double tap on the gear shift button on the loader lever it doesn't change range but it jumps up or down 2 gears which is a good thing. Sometimes you just want to skip gears up or down without changing ranges. Braking on the Deere does not interfere with the Field Cruise(Speed memory). By the way if you misplace a tool or implement in your yard and can't find it during the day, go out after night without a light and you're sure to trip over it. 😁

Nice preview video. I’ve watched lots of vaherenburg videos on massy tractors I’ve found them very helpful. I bought a 2020 5711 dyna 4 global series made in France just over a month ago. Non Visio cab but it has the same FL series loader as your demo. Mine has front fenders and rear wheel weights and a Clevis type drawbar, 3 remote spool valves and a cab stereo radio. That works😂. I really like the transmission and agree the range and gears are backwards from what I’m used too but it doesn’t take long to get used too. The cab is comfortable and very roomy and the air cushion seat is very comfortable. The rear view to the 3 pt hitch and drawbar is excellent. I do like the brake to neutral button feature. Touch the brakes and tractor goes into neutral release and tractor resumes travel. I’m still getting used to all the features and it has plenty of power for my needs. I pulled a large bale wagon with 14 1200 lb bales up steep hills with ease. One thing I read in the manual is you should turn off the 4 wheel drive for road travel it doesn’t turn off automatically it does come back on when braking. So far I’m very impressed with this tractor it’s well built and heavy duty where it counts. The 5700 series shares the same engine as the 6700 series turbocharged inter cooled with a def system that injects fluid only when necessary under load. I paid $95,000 Canadian for this tractor. Over the years we’ve had several Massey Ferguson tractors a 135,375,3090 and an 8220.

That could have turned out badly. I forgot to unlock them when I got off. Next time he gets on it to use it and he hits the brakes trying to make a sharp turn and it doesn't do what he wants. DLH love the video I was hoping maybe in one of your upcoming videos will you explain in depth the difference between a live 3rd function and electric over hydraulic. Thanks again for the great content you put out.😉
@DLHFarms3 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty simple. A live third function has a dedicated remote valve on the tractor and two additional hoses ran from that valve out onto the loader to operate a grapple or other hyd attachments. The electric diverter valve type uses hydraulic flow from one of the functions of the loader that already exists typically it’s the bucket dump function. The way it works is you hold a button typically located on the loader joystick that actuates the diverter then you must move the joystick as if you were dumping or curling the bucket but the flow is diverted to the grapple or whatever attachment you are using. Once you let off the button the flow is returned back to the bucket curl or dump function. It works pretty good but it doesn’t allow for using the grapple and curl or dump functions at the same time.
@osuoiler36053 жыл бұрын
The 6713 would probably have the power you need, but it would also be going back down to the synchronized gear transmission. I'm surprised they haven't dropped the Dyna 4 into the 6712 and 6713 yet, because it would be a great pairing. For Massey, your best option would probably be the 6700S series, as that is the red equivalent to your 6R, but they are a pretty penny in price. They are also similar to the 5700S series, so you may be a little gun shy due to the previous experience. I do agree with having redundancy for machines. I upgraded my Massey to a 6465, and I can use it to substitute my old John Deere 7210 for several tasks, which is nice since my Deere is getting high on the hour meter. It's not always financially feasible to have the redundancy, but it is nice if you can achieve it eventually.

If i can make a question: we've noticed, with the pto engaged, that if you leave the tractor for any reason, after few minutes the pto disingages, i think for a safety reason. The problem is that in certain type of work the tractor has to stay with pto engaged without nobody in the cab (with an irrigation pump for example). Have you noticed that?
