Hi there; Two quick questions: 1) Is the web gui http or https? It doesn't seem to have any options to upload certificates, so my guess would be it is plain http then? 2) Under the VLAN section it seems like VLAN 1 (which I suppose represents the admin WEB GUI " is linked to all switch ports without the option to select which ports it should be available from? If that is the case, it also means that whatever vulnerabilites this switch has regarding its administration, will be available to exploit from every port on the switch?

Is it possible to set sniffer mode to both Tx/Rx for the Port Mirroring option. I want to observe every packet (incoming-outgoing) at the same time.

Hi. Does this network switch allows port configuration to the IP address of the connected devices respectively? I.e. if i set my personal laptop’s IP address for Port 1, does it still work if i plug my work laptop with a different Ip address to Port 1? Looking forward to your reply! Hi, you only configure an ip-adres to manage the switch. The ip-adres for you laptops are configured from a DHCP server or when you have configured a static IP on the laptop. So both laptops have to work on this switch.

Hello im a dolphine, Yes, there is a port mirroring feature. At around 0:53 in the video, you can see where the option is available.

This switch is advertised with link aggregation, is this truly possible? From their dox and your video it does not appear as though it is (Link Agg should be under L2 Features)

Hello Black Venom, Link aggregation is also cald "Port Trunking". At around 0:40 , you will se that option in the video.

How do I get the ip of my switch to connect to (it's already connected to my router) ?

You can use the SmartConsole Utility software or you can set a static IP for laptop/desktop (10.90.90.80) and go to 10.90.90.90/. Now you can configuer the device and gif it an IP in the samge range of your router.
