Let me free you from your dillema, you can thank me later after i reveal to you what ALL christian leaders of whatever sect conceal from you, when you said the new testament is disconnected from old testament law, you are exactly correct BUT you are overlooking something which i am gonna reveal to you which christians is concealing: You quote old testament writings to justify your actions i.e. tithes, you are overlooking something.. Who the hell told you that you may covet, follow, teach, or exercise the laws of tithes?? Christians or the Bible? Of course you say the bible, without it there'd be no christians.. Before you tackle the issue of tithes, how the hell did you obtain THAT LAW?? Is that law supposed to be for you to follow? More importantly, how the hell did you get your bible which is the source of your decision making?? Nobody told you, i know, most christian laymen dont know, You are trying to decide on matters without knowing which things went first.. All your life, have you ever asked yourself THAT question?? All christians read a bible as if it was their own heritage.. You cannot just open a book like a Bible then say to yourself this should be followed or that should be right.. WRONG, first, you ask how and why it came about before you delve what is written inside it.. I bet almost all christians never asked themselves THAT question, i know because i used to be one of you, until i discovered teachings in a christian institution.. Spare yourself the effort of enrolling in a seminary, i will tell you straight up front: your bible is a stolen document, only graduating students of christian institutions are taught that secret, LAYMEN DONT KNOW THAT, the reason they teach that secret only to graduating students is to compel students to finish the course instead of shifting courses after being taught of that horrible truth.. they do not teach church history at the freshmen level for fear that students who realise it would quit early on upon learning the nasty truth, let me expound on saying your bible is a stolen document: As explained above, only graduating students from christian institutions are admitted in the subject of church history which reveals the bible is a stolen document.. Roman military tactics during the roman occupation of israel had created different political factions to divide the jewish unity so the colony of israel wont be able to unite as one man to rebel against the empire so rome can manage a colony with minimal supervision, the most hated are the Pharisees, because they are the true bearers of discipleship from Moses that rejects gentile culture according to Mosaic law, and as a result, prevents rome from tapping the colony to contribute to the empires economy and war effort, rome also knew about a prophecy of the end of seventy weeks of colonization, so when the time came, the jews unite themselves to rebel but failed until it ended at the site now known as massada ruins last stand, to assimilate the scattered jews, roman scholars led by Origen hoarded all the scrolls written by different factions from israel to alexandria egypt to be proofread and be canonised deeming it divinely inspired, they did this so they can assimilate jews to the newly founded roman state religion, they hired secular ungodly jews to stealthily translate the hebrew jewish bible into greek without express permission from jewish authorities to convince scattered jews to join and assimilate, then they added what is called the new testament to destroy the Pharisees credibility by biased content written in the so called gospels which are, in essence, a roman fabrication to politically disconnect the jews from their pharisaic leaders, THIS IS HOW your septuagint bible rooted by most translations came into existence, the same goes for king james 1611, it is stealthily translated without permission, you do not just excavate scrolls then translate it without notifying the true owners, that is theft, therefore the Bible is a product of an ancient crime, and the new testament is a symbol of roman oppression against the jewish people, this is why many items of jewish law are contradictory with the narrative of the roman fabricated gospels that only religiously educated jews can spot and identify, if a jew agrees with the new testament he is uneducated otherwise he is a blatant downright liar, the gospels therefore painted the Pharisees as the antagonists when in truth they are the protagonists, so when faithful jews rejected the newly formed state religion they were killed, those who survived hid, before rome finally issued an edict of tolerance granting peace with anyone with a different religion, separatists were decimated anyway, Constantine became the first pope NOT fabricated character of peter, then the roman Catholicism was born, the mother of all christianity who also created the religious mercenaries called islam but rebelled, then came the Pope's reply the crusades to covet the holy land once again and the rest is history.. Now back to the question you never asked yourself all your life: how on earth did i obtain the Bible that i should believe and follow its contents?? Now you know what is taught in christian institutions, i know because i used to be a student so no christian can silence me.. Now to the issue at hand: should you give tithes? Why would Christian leaders CONVINCE its congregants to give tithes when that law belongs to jews, not for gentiles?! Why do christian leaders turn an evil eye when a congregant refuse to give tithes?! The answer to the question whether a christian should give tithes or not? The answer is: the law was given exclusively for jews, so if a gentile, not necessarily a christian, points out jewish law of tithes to receive tithes from fellow gentiles or assimilated jews, what does that mean? EXTORTION.. Who on earth told christian leaders to quote jewish law which is actually stolen from jews to receive tithes from fellow gentiles and assimilated jews??? CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM ARE BUSINESSES You say give to Caesar's what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's, BUT THE DOLLAR IS PRINTED BY THE GOVERNMENT SO WHY ARE CHRISTIAN LEADERS NOT PAYING WHAT IS DUE FOR THE STATE WHEN THEY RECEIVE TITHES? BECAUSE ITS THE LAW THAT RELIGIOUS ESTABLISHMENTS ARE TAX FREE? BUT ITS THE STATE'S NOT GOD'S! Not only are christians robbers of theology, they are also hypocrites! And one last thing: that name written on your shirt? Thats the hebrew name of the deity jews worship.. who the hell gave you permission to print it on your clothing?? I bet its not allowed! Are you even allowed to print it?? My goodness!

I love your teachings brother Daniel, But here the scriptures disagree with what your saying. Tithing is 1) Still in effect today and still a commandment because it did not start with Moses. Before the Mosaic law was established, true believers were already giving TITHE TO GOD. For example Father Abraham gave tithe to the King of Salem. (Genesis 14 v 18-20) 2) Jesus Christ our Lord did not abolish the law but fulfilled the ''CEREMONIAL LAW'' and not the 'MORAL LAW'' In the old testament there 3 types of law namely i) Civil Law---How to govern Israel ii) Moral law--which are commandments and still in effect today like the 10 commandments...tithe commandment...etc. iii) The ceremonial law- The law regarding purification, sanctification, circumcision, festivals, sacrifices, etc. . THE LAW THAT JESUS CHRIST FULFILLED WAS THE CEREMONIAL LAW CONCERN PURIFICATION, SACRIFICES, AND NOT THE MORAL LAW. . Many hundreds of years before Moses was born, true believers in Yahweh like ABRAHAM WERE GIVING TITHE TO GOD through His servants like Merchidek the High priest. . 3) In the new testament Jesus Christ teaches us to tithe in i) Matthew 23 v 23-24---In response to the Pharisees. ii) Matthew 22 v 15-22---Render to Caesar (taxes) what belongs to Caesar and to God (tithes and offerings and your life) what belong to God. In this verse Jesus Christ was referring to tithes and offerings as those that belong to God.

A few other points that one may want to consider... 1. Biblical tithing was not really "giving". It was a payment, like a tax, only it was not received as money. 2. The tithing ordinances under Mosaic Law are now obsolete. 3. There are no limits to what we give, where we give, or how much we give. The biblical emphasis is just to give from the heart.

From my point of viewing tithing is a scam. I was attending a Catholic church in Paddington, Sydney, run by Franciscan Monks in 1965-66, at the time of the second Vatican Council when they introduced tithing. Having attended RC churches in England, Australia and New Zealand, it was strange and new to me. Furthermore my fathers family were protestant and they'd never been asked to tithe, so I assumed it was a new money making scheme of Rome. After paying my pitiful tithe for a few months I noticed that the monks had discontinued all the extra programmes they had formerly conducted to promote the faith and a sense of community between church members, all that was left was mass and confessions. When I enquired about this I was told quite frankly that now that everybody was tithing they had no need to provide the extras any more. It seems money was their focus, not souls. I was so disgusted I left the R.C. church and never went back. Unfortunately it didn't take too long for the Protestants to get in on the parasitic act too. I grew up in the 1940s and remember those years very clearly, but 1966 stands out in memory as a disgraceful fall in church morality that needs repenting of and finishing with. I think it would be better that we return to giving in secret, And God, who sees in secret will reward in secret. Nobody needs the government's tax deduction, because real churches of God don't yoke themselves to Caesar, but to God, They are not under corporate law, and free of that kind of abomination.

True. Tthing in the old testament is their taxation system since there is now tax yet during that time. But in the new testamebt the word tithe has been changed to tax that was why tithing is no longer required in the new testament but giving is highly encoutaged in the ministries.

EDIT: I agree with this, I might add that (to my knowledge, which is still growing) most studies from scholars and theologians I’ve read say that the ONLY guidance towards “church giving” is the Corinthians verse. Which in that, you have to be careful not to take out of context. Also, any verses pertaining to giving should be looked at in context. And be careful using the word “principle” to create some kind of rule. Not saying we shouldn’t give to church, but giving to church isn’t the only true giving. Giving and helping the poor, the orphan and widow is where the focus of “giving” should be. Not to fund false-doctrine factories called “churches”.

Your church gives to those in need? Telling ppl to give is not a biblical practice. Telling ppl to give to those in need is a biblical practice. If you give your money to the church but your church does not give to those in need then you will be held personally responsible for neglecting the poor. There are zero scriptures telling you to “give to the church.” But several scriptures tell you to “give to those in need.” You must find out exactly where your money is going because you don’t want to get to heaven & find out all your money was spent on luxury cars, jets, & mansions & not helping the poor (Not saying this is your church, but many churches today are doing this).

I've recently prayed to God and Jesus to forgive me for my sins and to repent. I confessed to my sins and told him I believed and had faith in Jesus and that he took my punishment on the cross. After I prayed It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of my chest. My anxiety was still there, but it felt better? Has he forgiven me? I will continue to pray and communicate.

Before I was saved, giving to people or helping people eventually felt like as you say. To explain it more in details, since I was a kid I always wanted to give to the poor we pass by on our way home. My parents were saying no, we don't have money or something. I always felt bad for them and just bad because why couldn't I give. Eventually after years of events, I as a teen was in complete hatred of myself. Never thought of myself of as a good, compassionate, beautiful, giving person. (Thanks to God, I don't hate myself, I know I am a sinner, and I am no righteous) but when it came to helping someone I felt horrible doing it. Why? Because it made me think that I was a good person. It wasn't about losing money (sometimes it was no lie here). Like I would give and I would just think "am I a good person now? Why? I am not a good person. I am a bad and rude person" I think the worldly view of a giving bothered me. What does good have to do with giving yk? In fact not one of us is good. Today though, I want to give to those who need and spread the gospel. to do everything in God our father. To follow Jesus words and try to be more like him. I want to help, not because I'm good(I'm not) but because Jesus saved me.

Daniel, please understand that isn't tithe. Tithe is supposed to go to the works of God e.g the church, ministry etc. Malachi 3:8-12 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts. If you give tithe to anyone who needs know that you are robbing God. Because tithe is supposed to be used to don't Gods work. For example, if everyone just decided to give their tithe to everyone and anyone who is in need. Ministers , evangelist etc would not be able to travel to spread the gospel because people are not paying tithe. Pay your tithe and from what you have after paying tithe then use the rest of the money help others. There is a reason why God said 10% and not telling you to give according to how you feel. God doesn't operate on emotions. Please pray about it.

There is one mention of tithes under the new testament and that refers back to Abraham and Melchizedek. Moreover, the tithe is not money and never has been. When the law was given God declared to Israel that a tenth of the fruits of their land belonged to him and give it to the Levites. That is why He asked "Will a man rob God." Be reminded that the law was destroyed and made void with the advent of the new testament and giving is a matter of the grace of liberality established in our hearts. So, if you want to give ten percent of your money do so. Give twenty, forty, ninety even give it all if that is what you purpose in your own heart but not because of guilt or coercion. We are not bound to give, we are free to give as a matter of liberty not of bondage. Stand fast in the liberty wherein Christ has made us free. Grace and Peace!

Tithe is an old practice that doesn’t have a reason to exist in our Christian faith. It was instituted by the priesthood class to keep the temple of Jerusalem operational. It also made the priesthood class very rich. If we are going to use the Old Testament to validate Tithing, then we have to return to all practices prescribed in it. Tithe if you want to, but this is not mandated by the teachings of Jesus, nor by his apostles.

So the homeless and poor are going to hell for not tithing? What a greedy, cruel, disgusting, sinful god you serve. This Jezebel will go to hell if she doesn't repent of her wicked lies about tithes. My brother in law made sure he always paid his self exalted preacher's command/coercion of 10% cash in tithes, for his church building (which is unauthorized by God for the use of His Name), and he lost his family's home and his church only told him to make sure he paid his tithes no matter what. What an evil wicked person who exalts himself as a preacher, opens a place of worship and then demands all struggling people and even the homeless to pay them 10%....🤢🤮 Any pervert can open a church, and then coerce/ENSLAVE people into maintaining his religious and cursed by God place of worship. . All religions are an abomination. All of them are defiled and all of them have absolutely nothing to do with God nor Christ. Tithes became defiled in old testament times and they're an even bigger abomination today. Imagine if Christ walked around telling the poor and homeless to pay him tithes or they will go to hell. Leviticus 26:31 I WILL DESTROY YOUR PLACES OF WORSHIP...only one scripture of many many more that speak against human religious abominations. Everyone who has built unauthorized by God places of worship (which is all of them) will be punished and will continue to be punished until they're all destroyed. Don't be a liar, tithing is for false preachers. No homeless person can pay you tithing. You will pay for your lies and for your twisting of crop tithes into cash tithes...
