Discernment comes from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would not stir you away from GODs word, but Satan would. The lost dead sea scrolls tell you things that you don't want to hear or believe, and your opinion of how you feel about that you use as "discernment" and shy away from the truth. Wake up.....this guy is a fake, and he is doing the work of Satan unaware or aware. Not one scholar said that the dead sea scrolls were fake or not true, as this guy suggests. He suggests that some of the things said by Saints about Enoch were true but dispell the truth of Enoch's words and prophesy through discernment. GOD gave humans free will. Included in that free will is eating forbidden fruit, mating with things we shouldn't, taking life that we can't give, and worst of all tampering with His Holy Word. The Bible shows that GOD doesn't stand by making each decision for us and humanity is far from GOD'S original plan, therefore our decisions are flawed and also the decisions of our governing bodies be it church or state. This is why our faith has countless denominations and factions, because it's hard to agree on what scripture should and shouldn't be followed. For example, The Old Testament is the basis for 3 totally different religions in one format or another and these are the three largest religions on the planet respectfully.

@majormattmason840811 ай бұрын
I agree. I have read the book of Enoch and am glad I did. We know that people at the time of the apostles were reading it (hence why Jude quotes from it) so reading it gives some insight into what people of that time believed or were thinking. I do think that The Book of Watchers is probably an accurate view of how people then considered Gen 6. For me, it does fill in some details and actually clears up the flood story. I think the Book of Enoch was probably Hebrew oral tradition that somebody finally wrote down. That doesn't mean it should be canon and added to the Bible. Still by it giving some insight into how the people of that age thought, it allows me to have a little clearer understanding of the culture of the time. When I read the Bible, I try to drop modern thought and culture and do my best to fliter it through the lens of how men thought during the time when the books were being written. What did they think about the Spirit realm? Demons? The Fall? Ancient geography from a spiritual point of view? We can get insight into what they were thinking at the time the books of the Bible were written less tainted by modern ideas of these subjects. Therefore, I say read it. But that doesn't mean you have to believe it all (I don't believe it all--some of it I do). If it provides a context as to how the writers of the Bible thought about things, it is profitable to know. We should strive to understand the Bible through the same mind set as the writers did as much as possible. One thing is certain. The writers of the Bible had a very different view of the world (and the spiritual realm) than we do because looking at things through the modern lens we have today can create a distorted view. Many books and commentaries have been written about the Bible in our age. Christians often read them and discuss them. The Book of Enoch is no different. God will not be upset if you read it anymore than if you read a commentary written by a contemporary author. And if it provides insight and understanding of how the Bible writers thought, it serves as a valuable lesson. I'm Very glad I read it. It actually has provided me a deeper understanding of the Bible. It has not changed my mind about any salvation issue. Jesus is still King and He will still return.

John 1:1 KJV "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The Holy Bible is the living Word of God(1 Peter 1:23), and it's the only way a person can truly be born-again(John 3:6-7). An adopted child of God being led by the Holy Spirit(Romans 8:14) will never seek revelation outside the Holy Bible(Jesus) because the Holy Spirit will only glorify the Word of God(John 16:13-14). God's Word is truth, and the Holy Spirit will sanctify a believer through scripture(John 17:17). If a Christian is not being led by the Spirit of Christ, then they do not belong to God(Romans 8:9). John 6:63 KJV "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

I love this channel. I just wanted to share how I feel about this topic. What we know is that 1st century apostles had an authoritative record of enoch's accounts. We also know that Genesis does not go into very much detail at all about someone who was righteous enough to be raptured that long ago. So why didn't moses include more on it? Probably because they arleady had some account from enoch. We also know that only the the version of enoch that is in the ethiopian Canon is the oldest we have because that was translated and copied way before dead sea scrolls were found. I think that catholics and jews both decided to dis credit the books after the events of Jesus life happened because the book of enoch very blatantly confirms the deity of Jesus Christ. The end times prophecies go right along with other old testimant and new testimant prophecies of the end times. I'm not saying that every word in it is 100% accurate, but it definitely seems to go along with scripture for the most part. Parts that I can't verify with scripture or don't go along with it, I just don't take to heart.

Well said. Same story with the apocrypha: Tobias teaches lessons that contradict God’s prohibition on witchcraft. There’s a video on Chicktracts that actually does a pretty good job breaking down why Tobias (and other apocryphal books) aren’t scripture.
@Brotherfromcalvary9 ай бұрын
You can’t just label every book not in the Bible as apocryphal. 1 Enoch is in the Dead Sea scrolls, was never in an apocrypha. And should be read, studied, and used as scripture. Tobit has nothing to do with this, and is in a complete seperate category.
@silversilk84389 ай бұрын
You are free to reread my comment until you understand that what you said was incorrect. @@Brotherfromcalvary If after the third time you still don’t get it… the answer is simple: ~>I didn’t say Enoch was part of the Apocrypha. You thought that I did, but I didn’t say that. However, my comment points out that it is in the same category of _not being Scripture,_ and in the same category of being uninspired text. Many people would use pseudonyms to write false gospels, like the so-called gospel of James which is a gnostic forgery. Enoch wasn’t written by Enoch any more than the Book of Abraham was written by Abraham - Spoiler, it wasn’t, and it records egyptian spells! Totally antibiblical! ~> The point is that neither is part of the canon of scripture, not Enoch and not the Apocrypha, because they aren’t teaching what Scripture teaches. 1 John is a good epistle to read, especially chapter 2 and chapter 4, and it’s worth considering that God grants discernment to recognize when He is speaking, and when He is not speaking. “My sheep hear my voice” and the Holy Spirit is the “Spirit of Truth”. Lots of Christians have been granted the discernment to recognize that the book of “Enoch” isn’t God-breathed, because God’s voice isn’t in it, and so it isn’t Scripture, and so it isn’t authoritative. Indeed, the Epistles warn against disputes over genealogies and tell us that we aren’t supposed to be consumed by jewish fables. But that’s like… what Enoch is. (I’ve read i.)

I have a testimony about that book. Last year i went to Turkey on vacation, took with me 2 books to read, one was Darwin's mistake and the other one was The book of enoch, that i already started to read. I was doubtfull about that book and wasnt sure about if i could read and see it as part of the Bible, so i asked the Lord to let me know in any way about that book.. if it was good or not. I carried them in my bag, once onboard and before we took off my wife gave me her water bottle that was 3/4 full. Put the bottle in my bag and put the bag under the seat. During the flight i took my bag out to drink some water and take a candy, but, it was almost empty, so i was like,, oh no, the books. Well,, the enoch book was soaking wet and the other book was dry, no water touched it. i checked the bottle, the cap was tight and no holes, nothing. I have not open the book to read it since then.

A notification popped up on my phone from a KZbin channel about a banned book in the Bible and the secrets behind it. I was curious, so I listened. It was about the Book of Jubilees, but I didn’t understand much of what the narrator was saying. All I remember are words like constellations, cosmos, demonology (I think), angelology, and something about how angels were created. I felt sleepy and decided to go to bed with questions in my mind: is this true? Why was it removed? In my sleep, I had a dream where I felt a strong conviction that the Bible is true and complete. In the dream, I knew of three books that are claimed to be banned, but I was strongly convinced they were not from God. I felt they were impostors, meant to deceive people and lead them away from God. When I woke up, I was amazed that God seemed to answer my question through a dream. Later, I turned on my phone and saw a video about the Book of Enoch by a vlogger named Daniel. I watched it, read through the comments, and found two testimonies from others who also felt God had revealed to them not to read the Book of Enoch. And that were the the 2 of you.

YESSSS!!! ... Just because 'Men' labeled it as non cannon doesn't mean that much can't be learned from it - what about the Apocrypha writings that were Removed from the Revised KJV, but were in the 1611 KJV?? The apostle Paul, mentions Enoch in the "Faith Hall Of Fame" and Peter & Jude both quote from Enoch ..... Personally, i'd say that, Reading Enoch or listening to it on audio, there's so much information in it that gives greater details & insight, especially details concerning Gen. chapter 6 'The Flood'. ... It gives more meaning to Mat 24, when Jesus says "Just as it was in the Days Of Noah, so shall it be when I return" - you'll see those same things happening on the earth [hidden knowledge that the fallen taught people: Gene Editing & such, about the Nephilim; how they will play a part in End Time deceptions/ aliens and the increase in UAP, etc.] . Reading Enoch(or listening to it on audio) gives insight into what was going on "In The Days Of Noah" - as well as about demons & cosmology .... I think there is much to be learned from and understood from the writings of Enoch.

And even though it would be very neat to know more details about such things, the Lord did not think it worthy of the Bible or necessary for us in these Last Days to have such extra knowledge. @@MatthewVideoProduction which Bible version are you reading? I would recommend getting the Ethiopian Bible and then even when you read the book of Genesis from the Ethiopian Bible, you will be able to see that many missing books from the Bible were removed to keep one from getting closer to God. Enoch and God were very great friends and then God took him. Enoch had knowledge and understanding, but he also was not Caucasian. He is mentioned in the KJV in Genesis and then in the New Testament. We know that in the book of Jude that Enoch prophesied that the Lord will come with ten thousand of his saints. Therefore one would ask, how was it possible that Enoch would know this but it not be mentioned anywhere in the KJV? He must’ve had a book (like the other prophets) - what is so different about Enoch? If you can, read it - but use discernment. The book describes astrology, astronomy, technology, the heavens and angels. And tbh, if it were kept in the KJV, I know I would have feared God’s wrath on a greater level - when I was younger. I am reading the Ethiopian Bible by Jeremy Copson- it even has the missing chapters and verses of Psalms. It is the oldest Bible known to mankind. Have a blessed weekend, it was nice talking to you! 🙏🏾❤️😊

Hi Daniel. I love your channel and am an avid watcher. This is a great video. A few things I wanted to mention are that the book of Enoch is not mentioned in canonical scripture. There are references to Enoch but no direct references to the book itself outside of biblical conjecture. The canon is not complete. There are several books that are mentioned that are either lost or not included for whatever reasons. The book of Jasper, the chronicles of Nathan and the book of the wars of the Lord are a few of them. So the canon is longer than the current 66 books we have today.

I really enjoyed this topic, and it was very engaging, but I do believe the book of Enoch also, the book of Jasher, and the book of Adam & Eve are inspired. The reason I feel that way is because it answers a lot of questions and aligns with scripture. Also, some of those books were included in the earlier Bibles, such as the Coptic bible and Catholic Bible, before the Reformation. None of those books deviate from the authenticity of Jesus Christ but, in many ways, complements it.

I’m still unsure. Want to look more into it, but by looking a bit into it, there are some comparisons with the Bible that doesn’t Align. That makes me wonder if it’s true or not. Part of me wants to be true, because of how detailed it is. But I wonder if God would want us to know so much about demons and fallen angels, seems off.

@@MatthewVideoProduction well the book of Daniel and Revelation is just as mysterious and intriguing when it comes to angels and demons .

Thankyou for your perspective . It’s important to understand this question cannot be answered in a 10 minute video . For example many of your statements were not backed up but you did cover a lot with the time you had

Believers should read the Complete Bible , not just half parts and certain translations which make up about half the Bible or less in General... How are you going to believe in God and his principals when your Bible is Incomplete?
@claytongarner72527 ай бұрын
Don’t believe it’s incomplete in any way. Gods word was written perfectly. If God almighty had wanted that book in the Bible then it would be there but it’s not.

What about Jasher? I guess you don't like it either. Samuel and Joshua referenced it. You can't simply discard it. Joshua and Samuel know more about this than you or me

Sorry, I'll trust Old T heroes instead of you. You seem very close minded to truth. Be careful of reading the Bible with pre-conceived ideas some preacher told you in the past. They are wrong many times.@@vasyl.petrun

It’s not the same jasher. The jasher we have today was proven to be a fraud, the guy who wrote it in the 1800s got arrested for it. It’s not the true jasher. The book of Enoch, Jubilees, and others are totally real and inspired tho.

Moses, Daniel, Peter, Jude, Paul….and yes even Christ all spoke from the book of 1 Enoch. You have to remember…. It was once a part of the biblical texts long ago before thr catholic counsel of Laodicia in 364 ad removed it. Scripture tells us not to add to or take away. And what the counsel did when they removed 1 Enoch out of the bible. If Christ Himself called it scripture when calling it such in Matthew 22:29-30. Thats where our Mashiach was speaking from. God gave charge to Israel to bring His Word to the world….NOT the catholic church( of whom decided to start removing books; and so did martin luther as well). When putting all of 1 Enoch thru the biblical filter…not a single part of it contradicts what we know as the KJV 1611. I say 1611 bc the kjv of today is not the complete kjv that king james actually authorized for martin luther removed 14 books from the original kjv 1611. Again, God gave charge to Israel to know and teach His statues and laws etc….not the catholic church. So be blessed everyone.

Absolutely friend! I just started a channel underOneKING and would love to have you. Your perspective is mine as you have done your thorough due diligence. I just started an Enoch series perhaps you can critique my Queen of Sheba and Acts 8:26 Ethiopian theory that is why they kept the full scriptures in Ethiopian Orthodox Church. YHWH willing my video on this will be out tomorrow. Went in depth but was almost half hour long and people usually can't hang for a video that long, so I'm cutting down to 9 minutes. Should be up tomorrow, if you care.

What about the book of Enoch saying that the angels built the ark and that all sin was from azalel?
@underoneking11 ай бұрын
@@metal42 Im not that concerned if Noah had subcontractors as part of the job. That was a huge job and still took 100 years! As far as the fallen Watcher leader, all the hidden things that were forbidden to mankind he taught, and is ultimately responsible for that part because he originated the fornication pact in order to have children and rule the earth.
@Talmidiym846311 ай бұрын
@@metal42 there is not any scripture in our 66 books that contradicts that angels didnt help Noah. They could have helped him by showing him where to get the wood or how to prepare the pitch etc etc… we cant assume others either way. And in regards to the azazel comment…. Leviticus 16:8,10 for example shows us that upon azazel/ scapegoat has been placed all of the sin of Israel. What the book of 1 Enoch shows is the literal/ spiritual event that took place concerning azazel that the Lord shows Israel to do symbolic to what happened spiritually in Leviticus. God didnt tell Enoch that all sin came from azazel, God told Enoch that all sin was to be inscribed upon azazel; just like He told Israel to do by placing all of the sin of Israel on the scapegoat aka azazel. Look up azazel in the Strong’s dictionary which shows azazel and scapegoat are used interchangeably. Hope this helps. Be blessed 😇

@@Talmidiym8463 the book doesn't say they helped Noah, it says they built it. Noah alone was given that task, but God in Enoch is telling Noah that the Angels are preparing it. Hebrews praises Noah for obedience and faith of preparing that. The verse clearly says that the whole world has been corrupted through Azazel, and that through Azazel ascribe all sin. The book of Enoch also says more contradictory things, here are some of them: -The book says that God will pick the holy and righteous from Hell (Enoch 51:1-1) - In the Book of Enoch, the Angels give information about the sun and moon riding in a Chariot (Greek mythology) to Enoch. -the Book of Enoch says that when Noah opened his eyes, he lighted the whole house like the sun, causing his father lamech to be afraid of him, and Methuselah says Noah is unlike Man, and resembles the sons of God. Then Lamech tells Methuselah to go to Enoch and ask about Noah, we then see that Methuselah went to the ends of the earth to meet Enoch. Yet this is impossible because God took away Enoch and he was not found (Hebrews 11:5). Enoch was taken 69 Years before Noah was Born. Yet Noah has more than once interacted with Enoch. Also Enoch informs Noah about the flood, yet in Genesis God is the one who told Noah about the flood, declaring it like Noah is hearing it for the first time. -The book of Enoch says that fallen angels gave mount herman it's name before the flood, yet this is not true in the Bible, in the Bible post flood, the mountain was known as Sirion and Shenir, but baal worshippers changed the name to herman, based of off their idol baal herman. -The book of Enoch says human women who married fallen angels and gave birth to 4,500 foot giants (ten times the size of Noah's ark) were transformed into sirens. Sirens are half bird half human creatures that come from the Greek mythology, yet the book is supposedly written pre flood. Somehow.
