I love the way the queue just shows how comically evil Hightower is. His entire tower is built upon the works of others. His elevator entrance? Stolen pillars from a Roman ruin. His concierge desk? The letter holders are built with Egyptian crypts. Perhaps the best example of how comically just plain evil he is are the many paintings and murals in the lobby, focusing on his “majestic” figure as his lackeys do his job for him. Nobody deserves to be cursed for all eternity, but I think Hightower had a little bit of it coming 😂

According to his dialogue throughout the attraction, he has reflected on his actions and is remorseful, it is just too late for him as the idol has damned his spirit for eternity.

Don’t forget the ancient shrine he converted into a fireplace.

The murals also show the angry locals visibly protesting him stealing their stuff.

The lore behind this even connects to raging spirits. The story buildup is amazing and to this day my favorite TOT version. The ride itself isn’t as intense as its sisters but it’s the lead up to it makes it the best experience!

@@dirtydiamondmovies I’ve heard on TV Tropes that he bought a curse on the ruins by trashing the place looking for treasure, then cutting the head off of an idol for his personal collection.

I went on this ride last year against my will and I hated every second I was on it. Good job Disney
I'm glad you finally showed most of the the loading area in its entirety unlike other videos.

While I absolutely love the Twilight Zone theme of the original versions, oddly enough the story of Tokyo’s feels more like a Twilight Zone episode than the original.

I think it’s because there was an episode with a similar plot.

How can I tell? I didn't understand one word that was being said.
this is by far the best tower of terror out of the 4. (i’ve went on them all) disney went all out with this. wish i could’ve ridden it for the heightened fear but still an awesome ride

Best man in the entire Disney Mythos. If we ever do get Epic Mickey 3, & if it does take place in a mix of all the parks, calling it right now. The C.O.Y. Can somebody explain on how they made the small creature disappear in the pre-show?

I saw someone use a night vision camera and it showed that they used the sparkling effect as a distraction for the idol to very quickly sink down the pedestal.

If Disney were to lose the rights to Twilight Zone, a simple retheme to this for Orlando and Paris would be better than making them all Marvel tower rides.

In my headcanon, the Tokyo Disney Sea Tower of Terror and Orlando Disney World Tower of Terror exist in two universes parallel to each other, and in this headcanon, the Shiriki Untundu sent Hightower to the Twilight Zone in the Hollywood Tower.

tower of terror it's a serious and dangerous horror attraction , but it still has an inpact.
Pourquoi il n'y a que Disney de Paris qui fait les attractions en plusieurs langues ? La que du japonais nul ! En tout ca elle est magnifique cette version.
@DLPWelcome6 ай бұрын
