damn i really like the way she dances. it’s so fluid but not exaggerated. she doesn’t try hard to overshadow her backup dancers just to point out that u should only look at her. even if she’s not singing, there’s always something in the way iu moves that will got you captivated. her stage presence perhaps? she’s such a perfect package for an idol.

the thing is.. the backup dancers did overshadow her with their dance skills LMAO iu isn’t a gifted dancer. You can even compare her dance skills to bts Jin. Not bad at dancing cuz she has to learn the fundamentals if you want to be an idol , but not the best either cuz dance moves are still v foreign to her. Sorry to break it to anyone who looks up to her as a dance goddess or something but she ain’t it. And I don’t hate iu. Just wanted to educate lol

@@picklejuice3508 maybe you have to watch old videos of IU when she dance a lot to various genres - she was trained as an idol and have to learn a lot of dances.. in her earlier years she performed a lot of dance performances with various boybands (MBLAC - where there's Thunder-Dara's younger brother; with 2AM boyband, High4, etc.), she breakdances and tweak as well - and participated in idols figure skating contests with the real national figure skaters - she's best friend Kim Yuna the SK national athlete of figure skating).. yes, she may not as averse or pliant as those idols of Black Pink, or Mammamoo or Hwasa moreover Hyuna..but I guess she's getting better when she's older cause her body is more flexible as adept to the rythm of the music - she follow the flow. No, she's not the best dancer I agree but she's fun to watch and for someone who said she couldn't move her leg and arm at the same time she seems to move to music effortlessly... in all her performances and MVs her dance part always fun to watch.. Beside with her voice and poise dancing may not be necessarily the core part - for her fans and those who like her music listening to her songs and the messages in the lyrics perhaps more valuable than the dances.. Sorry not to try to preach or educate, just share my personal thoughts and perception on an artist that I respect a lot and who has worked hard all her life to share her gift with those who appreciate the good music.. Let's just enjoy and be grateful that God creates such a gifted and accomplish artist to entertain us, especially in this difficult time.. Love and peace !
