There are a lot of great artists and songs not only in Korea but in the whole world. One difference I think IU has from some of them is that IU's music transcends style and music preference. Maybe it's because of how her sincerity towards music is felt through all her songs. Not saying others are not good but she really has that magic in the way she sings.

I saw this website which shows which kpop idol I look like and it showed IU for me. At that time I didn't know about IU. Now when I remembered this song from somewhere I heard before I came in kpop and it brought back the old memories~ But I still can't find out the resemblance! The only thing I can find similar is the wavy hair, except that I don't have bangs (begging my mom to get me some!). But still.... When she says, "LILAC" it literally bring goosebumps!
