Locally most automotive stores will have stranded hook up wire and switches. That's fine for a few lights; if you are going to install a large number of cars/lights you may want to look at an electronics distributor for larger volumes which will bring the price per foot down. you can just google hook up wire.

When mounting lights like this on a vehicle, I assume you would need extra wires to reach power source, switch, etc?? Where can you get the wires?

the lights are between 50 and $100 depending on how many leds (3, 4 or 6) per head, where you go .... The 13.8v dc power supply for trouble shooting was like $50
