The maxsound plus is amazing! I feel sorry for the people that dont know better and get inferior sound at a higher price. I got 8 of them for friends and family and they all tell me its the best they heard from a small speaker. Also recently i got a pair of upgraded xsound gos to play in stereo and that is amazing aswell. I hope they do the same for the plus.

I have had the Tribit for a week now and I am impressed. Out of the box, the speakers had a slight rattle that concerned me. Within the hour of play time the rattle went away. I ran over my Jam Heavy metal speaker with a bus and needed a new one. This blows those out of the water. Well worth it at double the cost!

The Tronsmart Element Force 40W, with three EQ bass settings, sounds equally as good (if not better, depending on location in the room) and it has the added advantage of being able to pair two of them for a genuine left channel and right channel, stereo sound reproduction.

MaxSound definitely outplays the SRS, but it's a good competition against the Flip. I enjoy the MaxSound more though. Not as bright as the Flip, which started to hurt my ears with some of the highs. MaxSound best choice for the price and quality!

I have the Tribit and the Flip 4 here. For audiophiles, sins of omission are much more acceptable than sins of commission. Meaning, as an example, it's better to have a lean sounding speaker with little bass than one with boomy, loose, distorted, overblown bass and lots of it. The Tribit's faults are sins of omission. It has its constraints, like the sound falling apart at higher volume. At relatively low volume, the speaker gives the impression of clarity and definition. Nice to listen to. The JBL has a lot of sizzle that takes away from its better properties. Sounds better at higher volume than the Tribit, which isn't difficult, but overall not as pleasant or relaxing to listen to. YMMV.

Yeah the Sony sound like it shouldn't even be in this review. The Plus sounds best to me overall, I don't plan on driving it at 100%. If I notice any distortion I back off. But it's best to buy audio gear that you only plan to drive at 80% max. If I wanted more I'd just buy the bigger model :) always with trade offs and limitations

After 4 years, i have the upgraded version of the tribit maxsound plus or the thunderbox, as of today 2023 the tribit bluetooth speakers have tha type C charging port and charger cord, i have all the upgraded version of the maxsound plus / thunderbox version, xsound go and the stormbox

RF Abhinav for the size its very nice sounding speaker, bass is deep up to 65-70% volume, than it start to reduce, but that's how small bt speakers are. You wont get big bass in high volume from small 20w unit, for that you need much bigger, more powerful speakers. I found that Sony srs xb20 and JBL flip 4 reduce its bass even quicker than Tribit that's why I left my Tribit and sold Sony and flip4. And If you place it in a corner of the room the bass is even better.

RF Abhinav Asker soundcore boost has meybe little bit better bass but it is bit muffled. It sounds like its covered with something. Mids and highs are not as clear as in Tribit. So all depends what do you prefer. Some people do like Anker's boomy sound. Tribit has good bass, but high and mid tones are also very clear, that's why it sounds better overoll.

Clavinet Junkie is more technical and experienced in audio fidelity, which I like. He also has the most realistic recordings out of any youtuber I've heard. Though this guy is pretty accurate with his descriptions of the sound too, just a bit less in depth than clavinetjunkie overall.

Tribit make EXCELLENT speakers without exception and to add to that, they are rugged and unbelievable value for money. Their latest offering, the Stormbox Mini, is a feat, up there with the best... Better than the Bose Soundlink Mini which is much more expensive. To better any of Tribit's speakers, you'd have to spend 2 - 3 times as much, if not 4 times! Their products are not just great, they are amazing!! ANY Tribit speaker...

I normally agree with your sonic impressions. I'd auditioned the Tribit and the Flip4. Perhaps there's a variance in Tribit's production runs, as the one I had wasn't so impressive. It sounded relatively cohesive at lower volume giving an impression of clarity and some detail. As it got louder, the sounds began to fall apart - very little articulation and definition, blurred, smeared highs, an overall opaque and homogeneous presentation. OTOH, the Flip4 maintained its composure throughout the spectrum, offered actual detail - albeit not a whole lot - to the listener, sounding significantly less veiled than the Tribit. I'd put them in two different classes of audio performance, relative to other BT speakers. YMMV

You deserve more subs my friend. Well produced and very informative vids, subbed! That being said the flip 4 sounds better and better the more I hear it, both in reviews and in person. I have the flip 3 and I really loved it at first, but as time passes I'm noticing more and more flaws. I'm still happy with it, but the bass is a lacking and unnatural and it kinda drags the sound down. The flip 4 seems to have solved that along with opening up the rest of the sound stage. I will admit the tribit sounds pretty good for roughly 50 bucks. The Sony's always seem to be the odd one out though. The one thing they have going for them though is an app with an eq. That way your not stuck with a "sound signature" of a particular brand. It never seems to be mentioned that the Sony can be adjusted to taste, a criminally underrated feature. I think the Sony's would do much better after tweaking the factory shortcomings with the eq and then comparing them accordingly. I don't listen to my flip3 at even near max volume and to do so on a small speaker like this is just silly, so I'm glad you do the test at multiple volumes. Great vid and take care.

Xsound Plus definitely has the best sound quality. However, the ,,up to 20 Hours playtime" is just advertising. I usually get up to 12 hours, with xBass on, at around around 50% Volume. Also it turns off a couple minutes after I hear ,,battery low" signal, even though my phone shows "20% battery left".

The sony is very weak on highs while jbl has strong highs, but the reibit stays in between and does the best. Couldnt tell which one was the loudest. May be the flip sounds loudest only due to Jbls's signature sound of strong mids and highs, that's it.

I'm not wrong if I choose the Tribit Maxsound Plus as my daily driver. the sound is natural, accurate, flat response, and the separation is quite good, I think it's like a mini studio monitor. But there is a problem when using aux, the sound volume is smaller and noise is quite audible. I hope this is not a hardware problem so firmware updates can be fixed. Overall, I am more comfortable listening to sound signature from Maxsound plus when compared to my Jbl flip 4 which is unnatural sounding.

I'm not quite sure, because I don't own the Tribit. But I own the JBL, and the interference and all this stuff happens sometimes. You should try changing the aux cable and to not put it close to an electronic device, just like a microwave furniture. At least, that worked to me with my JBL flip 4. Cheers and good vibes bro!

But in the sector of audio quality and connectivity, users give a positive and encouraging ratings.

In aux mode the tribit has independent volume from the source. You can greatly reduce the noise by putting the connected device's volume on max and then adjusting the volume on the tribit itself. This also fixed my issue where the audio was cutting in and out when playing at really low volumes when it was connected to my nintendo switch. Let me know how it goes!

the bass will decrease but it's much better when it is on, dont worry the tuning of this speaker is kinda flat and incredible try it you xan return it if you don like it or check the smaller one the tribit x sound go..

Its pretty much flat when its on and when its off it has also slightly more treble. I would say off sounds very similar to the xsound go.
