also this fits my oc apocalypse perfectly the 4 creation of a mechanical mastermind to cause terror and threatens to kill all life in the local cluster aka within 150 light years of earth for his own personal gain. apocalypse manages to escape the graphs of havenger and is on a quest of self identity and to end havengers plans once and for all. and this song is the after math of the battle. before i get ppl saying OmG iS tHaT eXo MeChS i made havenger before calamity existed lol

I have been coming back to this every single day since you released it. It gives me strength in a way I just cannot explain. DMDOKURO is absolutely cracked. Thank you for this beautiful rearrangement, it means so much that this exists out here. More people need to hear this, and also the original. They both draw me in, in such amazing ways. My heart goes out to you unit.0, and also DMDOKURO. Thank you for making beautiful music like this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This song makes me wish I was able to cry! The story is very interesting as well, but I get the feeling I should stay detached lest it ends the way I think it well 💀 whether I’m right or not though, I’ll definitely be watching to see

THERE'S TWO OF THEM?!?!?! Ok, honestly, this remix blew me away. This rock version of Keep Walking really fits the story you are building up with this character. I am now invested in not only the story you are weaving with these songs, but your other works. If "Still here"'s remix made me hit subscribe, this remix made me hit the bell. Keep up the awesome work.
@jdasleigh1238 Жыл бұрын
The fact that the original meanings of the lyrics have changed to fit this story is extremely clever. Especially the ‘soldier of metal’ metaphor completely shifting into this double entendre - retaining the original meanings but also the literal sense of this character. Sub earned.

I have a few things to say here: 1st and foremost... This miniseries of your is really good so far (was your intention to make us cry, cuz if so, you succeeded for me and others... In a good way, of course!) 2nd: Dm Dokuro has been one of my favorite musicians for the longest time (back around the time he made the cuttlefish meme is when I started watching tbh), and the two songs you used work perfectly for your story, and just happened to be my 1st (Still Here) and 3rd (Keep Walking) favorite songs of, not just his, but all songs I've listened to ever! (The 2nd favorite is "The momentary highs, the unfathomable lows"... That one just hit different...) I have various reasons why for each, but I'll summarize in saying that they helped me when I was in a bad place... Last but not least: for this track in particular... The entire second half of the lyrics perfectly fit this character and story in a way that almost seems to be made for them (specifically "Just fight it. Soldier of Metal. Looking as durable, as a stone..." ) Excellent work, and I now have yet another series to look forwards to seeing where it goes!

Initially I was just going to remix "STILL HERE" but then I discovered "Keep Walking' and that section of the lyrics that you've stated sold the concept to me haha. Thank you for the beautiful words, and YES DM DOKURO IS ABSOLUTELY GOATED

The visuals remind me of a Scott Base comic about a lost astronaut with a flesh-eating "life sustaining" suit that slowly cannibalized the astronaut in order to sustain the astronaut's walk back to civilization. In this case, "unit.0" seems to be an android that doesn't contain a human. Thank heck that's the case, since the Scott Base comic was horrific.
@unit.0 Жыл бұрын
a good friend showed me that comic, and honestly, the theme of horrifying sacrifices for survival is something I've borrowed. I've just flipped it. Instead of a loss of flesh for sustenance, it's a shedding and unraveling of humanity to stay mission oriented no matter the cost. If you haven't seen it yet, this video is actually a Part 2, Part 1 "STILL HERE" is on my channel, and it will give you more pieces to the narrative

This just blew me away, emotionally even The video, with the music, just made me cry. I don't remember the last time I cried because of a song I'm mostly mentally exhausted all the time and I keep holding on these negative thoughts to myself when it comes to arguments and small issues with my family. But you somehow broke that barrier, even if DM Dokuro brought me here, I still like his music and content, but having to hear someone doing a remix of it? Man. You somehow found my weak spot. I'm interested on the story with that Vessel though. Are you going to do more with Dokuro's music for that?

Why does the beeping sound like a heart monitor
@glfolker Жыл бұрын
Why are the beeps not exactly in D?
@unit.0 Жыл бұрын
These specific two frequencies are important. The 2,525 Hz intro tone followed by a 2,475 Hz outro tone are called the Quindar Tones. They're used between Johnson Space Center's mission control and the International Space Station during the early days of space flight. Think of it as Push-to-Talk but both the Space Station and Mission Control only has one channel to talk through, hence why the Quindar Tones are used to signify the initiation of the message and the end of the message. Eventually technology made the use of these tones irrelevant. But narratively, The Vessel (our protagonist in the video) would be using these tones to signal for help. But what for? There will be no one to hear it. Why would she repeatedly open and close this channel when there's nothing left to say? Would it be Desperation? Madness? Who knows lol
