I love my fmax210. We brought it up the Alcan this summer to get it to Alaska, home. The finish looks great still. I had a load trail a few years prior on same trip, also brand new. It looked like it was several years old , full of rock chips and not to mention we bent the I beams going over frost heaves. That road is a true test on equipment. That Diamond C is by far built better than anything on market. I won't spend my money anywhere other than with them.

That was nice to see. I am purchasing a 25,000lb dump this week. I noticed that the seams are NOT filled between the welds to prevent salt and crud from getting in between the parts. That would be a really nice touch for us with salty roads to deal with. I look forward to putting that beast through the ringer. ☺

Great question! For the most part no but we can two tone bolt on components on a custom basis. Ramps, jacks, couplers, fenders etc.

It seems like you have invested a considerable amount of money to get the best powder coat finish available, but even the best powder coat is more prone to corrosion than a galvanized finish. I have recently seen some tractor implements offered in galvanized and was curious if the trailer market might follow suit?

So...DM coatings is just your name for powder coating? Just so I understand. There would be no difference from any other trailer manufacture besides you adding some type of zinc based primer?

Great question! DM Coating is far more than just a slight change of primer. It encompasses the entire process from the first cleaning stage to the baked final top coat finish. There are many differences from other manufacturers throughout the process. First is careful thorough preparation - type of blast (some don’t blast at all) - type of wash (5 stage that some manufacturers only do part of) - Zinc enriched primer (huge difference maker when it comes to corrosion protection) and then the final baked top coat. Very few, if any, other manufacturers utilize all of these individual pieces whether it be to skimp on cost in one area or another. The DM coating system is one of the most robust coatings on the market today. 👍
