My cousin recently passed away, and this was his favorite song. At his funeral, his best mate played this on guitar. Thanks, for everything. I’ll miss you bro

Not sure this band realises how important they are to a lot of people. Genuinely amazing music.

This is the song that spiritually embodies the loss of a woman I loved so much. I’m an alcoholic with years of heartache, self destruction, & rock bottoms (hopefully) behind me. 4 years after loosing her I managed to get sober. It was beyond too late for us lol. My addiction was just digging its claws in when I met her. Long story short, alcoholism started to grin its crooked teeth - she went from ‘enchanting lover’ to rival. I think eventually she hated me. With a clear head, ehh Maybe there might have been a chance to fix things. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, right? Took me a while to stop that damned day dream. The breakup was the common shit show but worse I guess. I made all kinds of preventable mistakes because I was in the thralls of addiction & denial of its seriousness. I used to sit and cry so hard to this song... Shit.... I could still cry. We stuck stars above our bed that would glow in the dark & to this day most are still there. I’d wish & wish & wish to them with this song playing.. Pure heartache - wishing on a lost cause. It wasn’t meant to be! This was in fact a tough lesson on the consequences of lying to myself & others. Fate brought me into her arms just to tear me out at my lowest point; to show me something important. Love is real, breakups happen, it’s painful; but there is an abundance of lessons to be learned through the experience. I don’t blame her, the bottle, or myself. She’s moved on & seems happy! The only thing I could ever ask her in a way, is: “don’t forget about the stars”. I guess all the hopeless wishes I made to this song never came true & never will. Such is life. Thanks for reading my story 🤘

Was out in Byron bay with some mates tripping on acid around 3am some dude came and sat with us, sharing his good vibes, than he pops his phone out and shares this song, man that moment was special. Listening to this song brings me back to this exact moment. Happy but melancholy at the same time, I guess just like life. Thank you random dude for sharing this song, peace.

The DMA's achieved to produce the only song on the planet to be able to bring me to tears. I don't know why, but as soon as i hear this song i start to get emotional.

The "let it all out" part is pure catharsis. It genuinely helped me when I was going through some depression-like state. Just let it all ooooooouuut!
