Dont forget Rupture is a Draconic thing If Draconic daggers cost 1 less, that means more access to draconic chain links

I mean, if he sets up free dagger attacks every turn, that could be solid if he just maintains that extra value without breaking. Cindra looks cooler though

I'm really excited for both Draconic heroes, but it's a bit early to be worried about any of them when we only saw like 15-20 cards total so far. If after the full reveal it still looks shaky, then you can worry and I'll be there with you! 😁

It's still early to tell, but I think 1 resource hit for 1 is a little low for a Warrior weapon tbh. 1 resource for 2 with a condicional effect is more in line with Warrior math. But we can also get more than 1 set of daggers, maybe one for easy go again, one for power and on for the "flurry" stratety.

I feel like valiant dynamo keeps lss from making multiple weapon swings too easy. Maybe a new legendary boots equipment that makes go again on weapon attacks more available, so you have to choose whether you want your build to be more aggressive or defensive.

Baked in go again and being able to attack twice with the AR makes rupture pretty easy. Lava burst and stuff. I expect to see new rupture cards which could pay off warrior being a pseudo ninja but way more weapon attacks which gives them better longevity against fatigue? But warrior is still a lot more “fair” and predictable FaB.

A Draconic set without Dromai is a wasted opportunity. I’m hoping/coping we will get an Armory Origins deck with a new Dromai hero.

I'm excited for Fang. I was a big Dromai Fan and I'm hoping he gives me a similar feel in some ways. I did not like Fai or ninja in general.

His ability + the stances does enable even higher damage combos than Boltyn. Even just with quicksilver dagger 100+ damage setups. But the bigger thing is his ability enables you to play a lot of little combos on low/no resources. The stances also mean you never have to carry two combo pieces into a mini combo turn. Sit piece one in arsenal and play out the stance when you draw it. I'm very excited that he seems built for more explosivity because daggers are almost always going to be worse at dynamo value gameplay.

I don't think the daggers are going to have go again, because of Agility Stance. I suspect that giving them go again will be relatively easy, but I don't think they'll have go again baked in.

I'm happy that we don't get a new Dromai yet. It would have been insulting to the Lexi and Iyslander fans who have been waiting even longer. Lexi could have had the elemental split like Briar and we could have had a Lightning Ranger in Roetta, it would have been easier to include than the so called "Wizard" they put in there. Then they could have made a master set for Wizards with proper Wizard heroes that have Wizard abilities and print something more than Zap 7 through 7 000. They could even have made a all elemental set with just 3 new elemental wizards, with elemental wizard cards that bridge the gap between the class and the talent, maybe even include more than 3 of them. Also, I'm not sure the meta can handle 3 illusionists playable at the same time. Seems like a nightmare.

It's far too early to start seriously discussing if he's good or not. We've got a handful in the cardpool so you can't even predict it. Pre mist we thought zen would be the weakest and look how wrong we were there. For heavy Olympia was a back up hero as they didn't like the mechanic they designed for the other warrior they were originally going to use.

I'm pretty disappointed with Fang's design intially. The fact that he needs 3 Fealty and Fealty require draconic actions to be played to not pop them, means that he is not going to be able to play many warrior cards. So Fang decks are likely going to consist of: the best cards from this set, blaze headlong, generic staples, and maybe a couple relevant warrior cards. They can't add many draconic warrior cards because this is a draft set and need to balance around three classes and two talents. While on the other side of things, Ninja has a whole other set to build off of in addition to the new cards. So I think Cindra is going to be the standout this set power wise, but Arakni will be wacky and popular because people love assassin. I just don't see Fang being good unless they really push it with the cards in the set.

My worry is that if warrior gets shafted again i really do feel i'm out of luck i have invested highly on warriors because i really love the class but them being mid for so long now it's just sad Rosetta and MST just kinda made me hate playing sometimes

I’m afraid Fang will have the Kassai problem. A relatively complex set of deck building goals for little payoff. Half of his available pool (warrior) is pretty mid, and the on hit affects are telegraphed and relatively easy to block. I built an agi token quicksilver dagger attack action Kassai and it just felt like bad brute. Fealty tokens do seem like they will be relatively easy to bank, but like you said, what is the payoff? Obviously, we are missing a lot of cards, but can’t imagine this warrior will outshine Cindra, and I assume will struggle until MST heroes are gone. There is also the “fantasy” element. You would assume a dual wielding dagger warrior would be more nimble, but I bet people will load him up with D reacts which will restrict his other game plans. Happens across all warriors and it really feels like why even bring another one into the mix. Its like the difference between french vanilla vs "plain". It was one of my personal issues with Kassai. She is only warrior not fully clad in armor, comes from a desert, and then plays like a pseudo guardian with fatigue-oriented strategies (granted they were the only ones viable) - but again it kind of feels counter to her visual identity and story. Let’s hope we’re wrong!

Because there isnt enough room in the set for Ninja, Warrior, Assassin, AND Illusionisr cards. Core sets have never released a new CC hero that wasn't represented in the set itself, and Dromai won't be represented in the set.

@ They made the design decision to include an intellect stat on every hero card. If they intended to never change it, they should have made the rule part of the core rules. It feels like they backed themselves into a corner.
