Look man, you and your dog were literally being protected by a guardian angel that night. The odds were stacked against you, a nascar driver has a better chance of living from a head on collision than you did rolling over in that truck. God kept you alive and unharmed that night for a sole purpose and that was to make this video and to spread the word to not drink and drive. It happens everyday and you were luckier then a lottery ticket winner. Keep praying to the skys man, who knows when it will pay off for you again.

This hit close to home brotha. 92 , lifted 85 toyota show truck , triple roll bars. Got off edge of paved road and when we pulled back on the right rear was spinning much faster than the truck. It launched the truck up on 2 wheels. Looked over at my passenger who had no seat belt on. Yelled put your seat belt on NOW! . I drove nearly 1/8th mile on 2 wheels and set it back down safely or so I thought. Suddenly the right rear blew off the bead and instantly we turned sideways at 55mph. 8 hard barrel rolls . Barely a scratch but we survived. Sadly tradgedy hit me much earlier though March 04, 1988 changing my life forever. My family and I were hit head on by guy on meth on I-10 westbound. Mother killed instantly, sister died but was resuscitated, father ejected nearly died and I was battered and bruised. Never know what life throws at ya .Glad you are ok my friend . I work as an EMT and sadly enough that’s how a lot of the drunk driving accidents go. So so sad. Also I got super uplifted by your story and how you persevered through the last year. About 3 weeks ago I got some health related news and doctors said I had a clot in my head that stretched from the back of my head almost to the front on the left side. Doctors don’t know why it was there because I hadn’t had anything traumatic happen and they were blown away that I could still function normally. Anyways I had to have brain surgery to remove the clot and now I’m on week 3 of recovery. This video was so well timed because I was feeling bummed tonight because the recovery has taken a step back I feel like. I’m having tingling down the right side of my body and it’s kinda getting me down because of the steps back. Thank you for sharing your story because it kind of reenergized me in a way.

Thank you for sharing this traumatic experience. I'm glad you both are physically ok! This shows you what it means to be an American, how strangers in a time of crisis band together to help out to do whatever they can without asking questions. That is what America is all about.

so many variables that went perfectly that night. if that driver would’ve hit your tailgate, your dog might not have made it. you had your seatbelt on when you usually dont. literally everything went so right for you. that’s a miracle. that’s definitely god working. so glad you’re okay

😥 man this is really how I feel about my dog Pluto. He past away this year. I had him since I was 15. Didn't care what else happens our pets are always there and let us know its OK. This story makes me love how much my dog mean to me. He is the reason I'm going strong.

That's really crazy bro. I had heard bits and pieces of what happened and it's nice knowing what happened. And I'm really glad that you and your dog are ok, keep your head up. I always fly the thin blue line flag on my truck. And I'm a 17 and never touched alcohol, and I'm also already a part of a fire department already. Really support your channel rock your decal on my truck and wear your hat everyday!!

no ones condoning it, but saying that they cant is just plain stupid, everyone knows it happens regardless of it being legal or not.

Jack Burns that’s true, maybe I worded it wrong I kinda just found it silly that he’s 17 and hasn’t had alcohol that’s not really an achievement and if it is, this county is fucked

This video has gave me a huge amount of respect for you. Not only did you handle the situation as best as possible but you never gave up on finding your dog like most people would. You have a huge heart and a great view on life. Anyone else would be so eaten by the anger that would come of this but you treat it with respect. Thank you for the story and thank you for the message!

As a FF/EMT I've been on a good many DUI bad wrecks. I cannot make a value judgment on driver that were drunk on jobs I've been on. I go thru the same thing you do with Flashbacks and PTSD. I'm now retired and still carry the pain.88,000 people are killed yearly in this country because of alcohol/that's all i'll say.....Take care and God Bless
