Flatbed looks sick! I would recess the plate, then do a flip down mount and hide the whole hitch so its clean. Then when you need to tow, flip the plate down add your hitch and tow!

Glad to see there are people that have the same problems as me in California. In my front yard of my suburban home with a 3 car driveway I have a 88 bronco, 90 7.3 idi, 04 6.0 250, 05 6.0 350 Dooley, 87 xj750 bobber,15 optima, 88 Honda shadow, 2 trailers, 02 civic Enduro, 08 scion xb, 02 v10 f250, 6 dirtbikes on the side of the house then at multiple friends houses and at storage i have a 05 325i, 05 mini Cooper, 00 7.3 powerstroke, 62 baja bug, 71 torino 500, Chevy cobalt, and a dodge stratus. But 5 cars are for night of destruction at Irwindale speedway..... I got problems

If you are considering flat bedding the regular cab I would definitely do it yourself. I mean honestly you have the tools it seems for the most part to build it all, you have plenty of friends to help if you have issues, it will be good content, and honestly that truck will be sick with a nice flat bed maybe a cheap paint job.

I just finished building my flatbed. Bad timing steel is way up but it coast me 2,300 in steel it is a 10 footer and has toolboxes on the side so it is a big bed. I also added an extra fuel tank, air compressor and air tank, work lights and two spare batteries so the final coast was just over 3,500

What most people don’t know about line x and any bed liner is you can have them make it not as gritty it goes on smooth and the mist it on to give it that grittiness

Man that bed is nice, definitely he has skills for not being a pro welder. Definitely gotta keep us on the updates on that bed. Man honestly ryno I'd say flat bed , lift put some meaty tires on it. What you also should do is take the cab , fenders hood and go with American Flag/WorkForIt vinyl. Regardless thanks for another solid video.

I would strongly suggest not going to 52 inch rear springs. The longer springs in the back help with ride quality a lot. DIY4X has shackle kits to net your lift and keep factory springs at the same time.
