Any idea if there are other knightmare frames in the game besides the ones from the lelouch of resurrection movie??? I can’t find a simple list of mecha in the game ANYWHERE, it just keeps giving me this series is in the game but doesn’t say what mechs specifically are in the game.

@@MusicFan752 Gekkoei Sui (Lelouch+CC) Gurren Type Special (Kallen) Lancelot Albion Zero/Lancelot sIN (Suzaku) These are the playable Code Geass mechs in SRW30, there are also enemy mechs from the movie like Magistos Omega and the enemy grunt units. Older Lelouch mechs like Gawain&Shinkiro and older variant of Gurren&Lancelot are presented in older SRW titles which are SRW Z2 and SRW X.

@@arkbeetle well that's sort of unfortunate. While the knightmares from the movie are cool it would've been nice for them to add in the other knightmare frames from seasons 1 and 2.

For me one of the best units in every iteration of the games Is dancougar, it's good at mele, good at ranged combat, has at least 4 Pilots for spirit commands, and overall has a lot of defense and hp. And utimate dancougar from srw30 was so fun to play

In my experience playing many titles of the saga, the best units are: 1. Ideon/Super robot wars alpha3 (This mecha robot can easily defeat one of the most difficult final bosses in the saga in one-on-one combat, infinite energy weapons, infinite range map weapon, etc) 2. ARX-8 Laevatain/ Super robot wars V (one of the most versatile, reliable and powerful units within the saga, I don´t find any disadvantages in using it) 3. Great Zeorymer/Super robot wars J (infinite energy/health points self-recharge, the most powerful shield/barrier in the saga, practically an indestructible unit) 4.Gundam 00 Raiser/Super robot wars z2, z3,... 5. Genesis Gaogaigar/ Super robot wars alpha3 6. Shin Getter Robo 7. Mazinkaizer 8. Nadesico (y-unit) 9. Hi-Nu gundam or Nightingale piloted by Char aznable/Super robot wars X (best support unit, "commander" ability included) 10. Shinkiro/Super robot wars z2,z3,x... ("tactics command ability", There is nothing more to say) 11. Acrobunch/Super robot wars compact 3 ("7 pilots", There is nothing more to say)

Good list. Honestly i would add cybuster for its post move map attack and just being consistently good across multiple games and scopedog has also been consistenly good for me and Chirico is always a great pilot. Nadesico is a great ship most of the time specially in J but the best ships in my opinion have been the ones from non mech shows like the Yamato, Arcadia and Nautilus. Finally i don't know if you have played the 3ds games but Demonbane is insane and AGE 1 has a 9999 power MAP attack though not very avaliable and using the AGE ship to lvl up Flit is a pain.

Ideon is a double edged sword, all that power is only obtained by getting hit intentionally until it's HP is very low, made even worse by the fact that it's an instant game over if it's destroyed. Besides, should you increase the pilot's defense or evasion the enemy will either barely hurt you or never even land a hit, meaning you'll never get to use the ideon gun anyway

The most powerful Ideon is the one from SRW F Final, 19k Hp, unlimited energy map weapon Ideon Gun, a tricky to use though, something goes wrong it will go berserk, wiping out everyone on the map.

Actually its just the guren and ernestis mech. The two can wipe groups and never get hit ever, also insane attack buffs. The hardest hitting though is the dreikreuz. Give it the abilitys to counter, first strike and buff its range and it will easily solo the map.

Full Powered Gridman most powerful weapon is Denkou Choujin Gridman, acquired very late at Gridman storyline last stage after defeating Alexis Kerib

Giant Sang Yung not being on this list is a crime.--it reduces the target's morale on every hit, which is clutch for turning off things like Potential on bosses

Nice, but if you're new to the series, I actually recommend starting with V, X, T, or any translated emulators of older games or games with series you are already familiar with first. These games are shorter, meaning you won't get burned out if you don't really like the game. Additionally, 30's mecha series are mostly sequels. What I mean is something like "Code Geass here isn't season 1 Code Geass but the movie sequel," etc. So if you're not familiar with the story, it can get very... info-dumpy or confusing, or you just won't get invested. Other than that, it's your call, and I hope you enjoy your time. (Don't worry about animations btw, lots of older SRW games either looks just as good if not better)

Just about every mainline unit from a series are strong. Lantis is more of a support unit though, it should be Rayearth taking it's place, and Phenex just comes in way too late in the game to have time to shine
