This is astounding....my eyes and hands aren't what they were 50 years ago, so this would be impossible for me, but I'll totally enjoy watching you make it. Thank you so much for making this video.

Thank you for sharing . I have always appreciated the thread and lace type crochet patterns, very elegant, unfortunately I learned to crochet too late in my life to be able to really do threads alot anymore . Enjoyed watching you crochet, small hooks are my favorite!

This is really beautiful... and of course that was my first motive I did in Irish crochet :-) but you explained this very well, so it was not difficult. thank you very much!

You are welcome. I will resume the tutorials this year, once I complete my computer science course. At the moment it takes all my time, but later I will have more of it, since the final work will be related to crafts(web and desktop applications ) and I will need more content for it

I am looking forward to it! :-)

Hi It is very beautiful..today only I saw this in the tube and started doing it . I think it will be more easier if it is written while you are doing like others . It will be very easy to follow.and also your voice is little bit low . I find it little difficult to hear . Volume is on the higher side but still it is hard on me. Thank you

Its a turkish Altin Basak crochet thread, sizes slightly differ, about 10 points, so 10 altinbashak is 20 dmc and anch

I love the quality of your video & background is great. However, remember you are working with very thin thread and the camera shot is not close enough to see if you are skipping a stitch in row 2 nor do you mention it either.

I don't know if you're aware of it, but your link (the website one) in the video is throwing up an error when you try to get to it.

An amazing piece of work. What thread similar to this, is in the US?
@irishcrochetlace6 жыл бұрын
You can use Anchor or DMC crochet thread size 40
@jessicabanks40086 жыл бұрын
It's just the dmc thread that you can buy at any Joann's or craft store. You can also pick it up in lily's brand and it will be on a roll just like she's using.

@MariaSilva-xz6yg6 жыл бұрын
Sorry but you do not explain very well. At the beginning you made a chain and you did not said to make it, for instance, and because it is too small we cannot follow your hands, it is a pitty because it is a nice piece of work :( And the confusion with treble and dc's and dc's and sc's become even worse.
@irishcrochetlace6 жыл бұрын
For the chains in the circle, use the following rule: one chain of the ring for two double crochet or three trebles of the next rows, if the number is not divided without the leftovers, go for higher number. I.e if you need to make 9-10 doubles for the center, make 5 chains, if you need 20 trebles, make 7 chains (21/3=7)

Its very kind of you to make the tutorial but sadly its a terrible experience trying to study something which someone is constantly fidgeting with it. Please just put it on the table where we can see it whilst you talk, after all that is the purpose of it.
